The staff were welcoming and very friendly and personally showed us to our room which was large and functional with air con and a very large patio balcony outside. Breakfast was very simple but perfectly adequate with freshly squeezed orange juice, bread rolls, cheese and ham slices and a choice of cereals. Perfect for a last stop before the Airport.
There was nothing that we didn't like but you do need to negotiate a long flight of stairs in order to reach reception and all the rooms, so perhaps not the best choice for the less able visitors.
I stayed in Rialgarve from March 14 for 2 nights, until March 16. The facilities of the hotel were fantastic; free use of tennis courts, the swimming pool, and multiple free sports classes were advertised. There was also a café and restaurant in the hotel with a lovely large terrace and great service. Another good point as a smoker myself, was the availability of smoking rooms. The location was ideal for the village of Montenegro and bus stops.
Unfortunately, the bed wasn't comfortable, nor were the pillows provided. :-(
The balcony is great for relaxing in the morning and bus stop not far away to get to beautiful beach and towns
There could have been tea and coffee making condiments in room but other than that it was good.
Close to the beach and the centre! The service was friendly and helpful! I especially liked tge qiuet and peaceful neighbourhood! Well done!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff, very clean rooms,Food on Menu very good, chef came in especially to cook for us.
We went in February and the place was almost empty and the room/bathroom were cold.
Close to the town, swimming pool, big rooms, nice and helpfull staff
the location which is in walking distance from both airport and city very spacious rooms with lots of channels on the tv
too many dog concerts at night - maybe a problem in many other locations as well
Not easiest place to find, but not their fault. Just the location of lots of windy streets. But very quiet residential area. Worth taking a taxi into the old town and having a meal. beautiful.
Bed and pillows poor quality, but not expensive stay so for one night, bearable.
Spotlessly clean, good location, lovely helpful staff, feels like home :)
I liked the preparedness of the staff to help. They were also very friendly and service oriented.
Food was excellent
rooms were very basic
The location was great, just a short distance from the Airport. The rooms were spotless. I much prefer the larger rooms with air-con and a balcony as you can relax on the balcony in the evening, but even the smaller, cheaper rooms with no aircon and only a fan in the room were fine for 1 night. The restaurant does a lovely breakfast and great coffee, which is always good. The huge pool area and pool itself is fantastic. it is nearly always empty and quiet and a great place to chill out. I have stayed twice when flying out of the airport in Faro on my own and would totally recomend it.
The bread and pate with dinner are offered but ypu will be charged for them and they are not worth it. The bread is hard and stale and the pate comes from a small aluminum pot swimming in greece! The glass of red wine with dinner the first night was gone off and when I asked to change it was told that they couldn't open a fresh bottle. But otherwise the food was nice. and the service was excellent.
The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The resort was that clean you could eat you dinner off the floor. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The beer was very cheap.
It was a little out of city centre. You would definitely need a car to enjoy your stay and adventure the city. The check in time wasn't until 3, so you had to hang around waiting on a room. The local shops are quite far away. I would definitely recommend staying in the city more to do and save yourself taxi fare.
Friendly staff. Swimming pool. Cold drinks. Good breakfast. Affordable prices
Very uncomfortable beds
The staff and overall service, the site and facilities
We stayed in room 2, the noise coming from the halls/stairs/parking/other rooms was unbearable, couldn't sleep even being so tired
Pool and bar facilitys and the very friendly and helpful staff. Very handy for the airport and near to Montenegro village which has good small shops etc.
We were in the budget rooms which were away from the main building. No air con. Also leaving early morning there was no hot water .check in time 3.pm to late.
the service , the food, the beds , the dirty balcony, lack of staff
Clean, nice staff.
Bad location if you don't have a car. No wifi in the rooms.
The pool, restaurant and staff were excellent. Not far from either the airport or town centre.
The guests in the room beside us were extremely noisy. Had to bang on the wall at 5am to get them to shut up
quiet nice swimming pool location next to the airport and in a nice environment lovely village
they do not speak a good english or french the air conditionning was smelling like old cheese the balcony was dirty reception is a mess no communication between staff members even though they do their best you need a car or being a good walker to go to Faro
Staff Room Food Close to airport
Beds uncomfortable Busy Pool Reception awkward for carrying luggage
I liked the fresh pressed orange juice for breakfast.
Rialgarve seems to be a very sportive hotel. Nevertheless you have to pay for almost everything you use! Even if you ask to print your boardingpasses for the flight you have to take home - 5 euro per sheet!!! "it's the usual business" the receptionist told us. What kind of business is that? A good hotellier has to give his guest the best stay - it's even in his interest that you like the hotel and recommend it. We had to wait 1 hour (i'm not lying!) to wait until we could check out. Then came the problem with the printer... The receptionist gave us some nonsense explanations why printing is so expensive and said that there were no copyshop (I don't even believe that..) then he said that we paid to much for our hotelroom (hein?!!) and that he gives us a student discount for printing - gracious as he was we only had to pay 3 euros for the two boarding passes (3 euros for two sheets...)...!! The room was ok, the breakfast cost 5 euros per person (the croissant was not very good, the bread neither, the cheese was ok, we didn't try the ham and the other stuff because it didn't look very appetizing, the orange juice was fresh and yummy, we had to ask for coffee..), the hotel not very far from the airport so that we could leave as fast as possible! Never ever again!
Staff very helpful, nice pool, reasonable priced restaurant.
Not enough staff on when restaurant was busy.
