Good facilities Service around pool and pool bar should be significantly improved - it was very slow at times and inconsistent. - this was not the case within the hotel. Given the fact that the Hotel charges 5* prices it has to deliver 5* service and this was not my experience. |

We were upgraded from the 4 star (portuguese rating) Ria Park Garden Hotel to the 5 star Ria Park Hotel nearby, and it was excellent. Lack of internet access in the room was a problem as we had 2 teenagers and in the lobby area, the wireless access was expensive. I would expect this to be included in a 4 or 5 star hotel. |

Staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and made our stay. Not sure it was quite five star from the facilities, more like a good four star. But then this was our first stay in a Portuguese Hotel, so we have nothing to compare it to, only five star hotels in other parts of Europe and the US |

Relaxed atmosphere and a really great breakfast and the pool service was quick. A lovely birthday cake and sparkling wine was organised by the hotel staff and beautifully presented. |

we were upgraded to ria park hotel the tennis courts were very poor i would not play on them for nothing and too far from hotel as i did not stay in the garden hotel i cant say the 5 star is as you would expect but a different price |

paying only for a 4*hotel(closed) being traded up to thier sister 5* hotel! wanted to use the mini bar,but could not accept on principal a12.50 euros charge for ice on top of the mini bar prices! I believe for a 5* hotel a small charge would be acceptable |

As we were upgraded to Ria Park Hotel with a higher Rating then Ria Park Garden I can not complain at all. Very competent, nice and friendly staff. Facilities very good and usefull. As I am a freqent traveller being more than 50 nights a year in Hotels I would say a very well managed Hotel. |

Classy rooms and decoration, excellent service, beautiful gardens, great value. The swimming pool water was a little opaque which discouraged us from using it. The beautiful marble flooring was a problem when we had someone above us wandering around with high heels at 2 am. |

The facilities provided were exellent value and the room was very comfortable though, unfortunately this was spoilt by a strong smell of cigarette smoke which pervaded the room throughout my 3 day stay. Service standards wre very variable. Some staff were excellent but others were slow and indifferent to clients needs. |
