The pool area is very, very nice and very child friendly. The family suite is extremely spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very abundant with a wide choice. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was a bit limited at times, especially in the evenings. When returning to the hotel at night, with kids fast asleep in the car, it was a bit of hassle when we didn't find parking space. |

We were upgraded to Ria park Spa. We have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and the service and staff at Ria Park was second to none. |

We actually stayed at the Ria Park Hotel & Spa, having been moved by the hotelier. We had a really relaxing stay, the staff could not have been kinder or better at their jobs, and we would certainly recommend the hotel to others. The only slight drawback was the gym not being open while we were there, although the hotel information book stated it would be. |

The Hotel upgraded me with no extra charge to it's sister hotel The Ria Park Hotel (5 Star) I was only there for one night on a business trip, but it seemed a really good hotel with everything you need. Only thing my driver had trouble finding it, It could do with better location signs to the front entrance. |

Beautiful garden surrounding the hotel, nice room, genereous breakfast. Nice pool, beautiful beach. It's quite far from the beach and there's no convenient path there. The shuttle bus is not always on time. |

The hotel facilities were great as was the service and the hotel is very close to the beech and benefited from having its own sun bed concession. |

The waiters in the hotel were excellent. Food was good, hotel very clean especially the pool. However you either need a big taxi fund or a car because the hotel does not have a shop and you are miles from the nearest supermerket for simple things like water, papers snacks etc. transport to the beach was provided by the hotel and much appreciated, with thdrivers going out of their way to help. The man in charge of the hotel beds on the beach was rude. He also told us there were no more beds available as we stood there in 34 degrees of heat. then a portuguese couple walked up after us and they asked for beds and were led off to a part of the beach where he immediately set up two beds and a parasol. When I challenged him about his blatant discrimination he suddenly did not understand. |

The staff are exceptionally personable and extremely good with children. This was our second year returning to Ria Garden Park and I would recommend it highly. Although it is four star, it lacks a few 4 star touches, but these would be physical embellishments rather than service. I think their information on local restaurants, activities etc isn't great, they should have a more comprehensive welcome back re booking cabs, distances to Almancil, details on the kids club (i didn't know there was one etc). They could just do with a little Marketing Co-ordination! |

Upgraded to the 5* hotel, Garden hotel being refurbed apparently. Regarding the Hotel - very clean, beautiful pool area. Restaurant food very good. Beach shuttle fairly reliable, towels on hand there and private section very nice. Staff very helpful when we had a problem regarding a missing item. Manager sorted out a problem for us earlier in the holiday quickly and efficiently. Recommend! Car recommended so choice of restaurants is available. Saves on taxi fares. |
