Ria Park Hotel & Spa  

It is a beautiful hotel in a pretty location. Surrounded by palm trees the restaurant outside feels almost caribbean. If you want a relaxing time this is the place. Although not lots of facilities Eg shops right on the doorstop they are not far away. A car is probably a requirement if you want to get about although we were there for a 5 day chill out so not a problem. A 20 minute walk down the beach gets you to the Vale de Lobo square where there are shops and cash dispenser. A 10 minute walk gets you to the beach where the hotel has free sun beds and towels over the boardwalk. There are also 5 beach restaurants down there and others a short walk/drive/cab away from the hotel inland. If you want everything on your doorstep this hotel doesn't do that but the hotel is easily good enough to make up for that. Rooms are good, breakfast very good and the staff were great. What more can I say? For the cost we thought the hotel was great value - we paid about £145 a night

No complaints at all . There is a mosquito problem near the beach restaurants at some times of the year( we went late May) but we would happily go back to use as a base ro just to chill for a few days

Being woken at 1am by noises in room above. I expect not to hear the person above, walking, coughing etc. They expect some privacy at 160 Euros per night, and I expect some sleep. Secondly if I book a spa hotel I expect facilities on site, not to be given a map in a rainstorm and told to walk to an unknown and unmarked destination. By the time my wife found the 'spa', she was soaked to the skin, and it was too late to book an appointment. Not five star treatment.

Very clean, quiet and helpful staff.

Didn't have a car and hotel is not near any shopping area. Thought the hotel could have offered the hotel van to take guest to the small shopping centre 5 mins away to avoid the 24 euro round-trip cost.

The hotel was spacious. The staff friendly but still professional. The beds very comfortable room service excellent. It was a very relaxing time for us.I Would feel safe staying there as a solo female guest.

I found the food excellent quality,but portions small and expensive..

In the height of August, the hotel was quiet (in a good way) . The pool area was excellent, plenty of available sun beds, shaded by established palm trees against the pool.The hotel has an almost "old colonial" style.. charming, though slightly faded , it felt more like Raffles in Singapore than a modern hotel... half open, high ceiling wooden roofed veranda with slow rotating fans, looking across the tress tops down to the pool, having a casual lunch. very enjoyable. It is not bling, but if you are looking for somewhere to read your book, unhurried, with no tattoos or earnings then this is it.

The beach is a 10 minute walk, and it wasn't that great. We prefered to doze by the pool. There is no entertainment in the hotel, save for a table tennis table and a foozball table. However, literally across the road (but out of sight) is a bar with twice weekly entertainment and casual dining. We enjoyed a curry night with live band there mid week, the bill was around 180 euro for 5 of us. Taxis are quite expensive, but there is an abundance of quite excellent restaurants within a 20 euro cab ride. Try the "Fat Frog"

Praticamente tudo. Adorámos o jardim (pelo muito espaço verde existente), dando um ar fresco e possibilitando a contemplação. Espaço movimentado mas ao mesmo tempo permitindo o sossego e o silêncio. A grandeza (hotel muito espaçoso), toda a decoração. A limpeza de todo o espaço, bem como dos materiais de utilização: toalhas, lençóis, etc. a nossa opinião é bastante positiva; contudo deixaremos abaixo algumas poucas reclamações que gostaríamos de ver atendidas.

Reclamamos uma melhor vistoria nos equipamentos dos quartos, pelo que a título de exemplo referimos: televisão avariada, lâmpadas fundidas, torneira do lavatório avariada, recolha diária (no momento da limpeza dos quartos) de cinzeiros utilizados e que se encontram nas varandas. As camareiras deverão testar, antes da entrada dos clientes (aquando da arrumação dos quartos), todos os equipamentos, com vista a informar superiormente e poder ser atempadamente reparados. Mas no geral consideramos um bom hotel e fomos bem acolhidos. Tencionamos voltar sempre que possível.

Je ne peux pas vous faire des commantaires sur le Ria Park Hotel car vous nous avez changé d'hôtel en nous envoyant à quinta di lagos. Donc je vous fait les commentaires sur le Quinta do Lagos et non Ria Park. J'aaimerais savoir pourquoi en fait nous vous nous avez changé d'Hoel. En tout les cas nous vous en remercions car on a été très bien servi . c'était reposant et on a très bien mangé avec un excellent service et très serviable. Parfait et le prix aussi était très appréciable.

Je pense que la piscine intérieur doit être un peu petite si il y a beaucoup de monde mais à cette saison il n'y a rien à dire .

Nebolshim minusom javljaetsa, chto pljaz naxoditsa dovoljno taki daleko ot otelja. Pravda ot otelja do plaza reguljarno xodit shuttle bus. Takze ne ochenj udobno, chto otelj nazoditsa na okraine i do blizajshego ozivljonnogo mesta (kafe, restorana, progulochnogo mesta) nado dobirasta na mashine. Dlja tex, kto berjot mashinu na prokat, eto ne budet problemoj. No na plaze estj neskoljko ujutnix restoranchikov dlja aljternativi. V osnovnom v oteli slishkom tixo i spokojno, poetomu on idealen dlja semej i pozilix ljudej. Mi s druzjami etogo ne znali, poetomu kogda priexali, slegka chuvstvovali sebja nelovko i bojalisj lishnij raz na zavtrake gromko zasmejatsa. Tak kak vokrug bili ljudi v vozraste.

Hotel bastante agradavel no seu conjunto: zonas comuns amplas, bar e sala de jantar com boas condiçoes, bem localizados sobre os jardins e piscina. Decoraçao adequada a um hotel de praia, transmitindo um certo conforto. Pessoal educado e prestavel. Pequeno almoço bastante razoavel.

Pequenos promenores negativos: Para quem ja esteve hospedado no Ria Park Garden os quartos desiludem: bem mais pequenos e com uma zona de estar muito menos comoda.O Chuveiro tb nao merece 5 estrelas, pouco melhor que mediocre. A piscina, embora bonita, peca pelo excesso de vegetaçao, o que origina demasiadas zonas de sombra.O Spa nao existe: quem tem "pachorra" para atravessar toda a urbanizaçao para fazer um sauna?
