We were satisfied with its location, price, parking and caring service. The hotel is situated next to night club, that is why during the night there is very noisy with the windows opened.

Location and they clean your room every day. The hotel is old, but most of the hotels in the city are old as well. Two things I didn't like 1) I couldn't close my balcony there was no locker 2) Shower was very old and you had to hold it to have a shower lol. By the way internet only in the lobby

It was clean and location is excellent.the hotel itself is quite ugly, but it's great value for money.we pais 35euro between 2 and it's in the heart of Lagos.it was clean, perfect for a one night cheap getaway where you don't mind what the place looks like!! Could definitely do with a re-vamp,the interior is quite ugly

Very nice staff and amazing location, loads of bars surrounding this quiet but full of charm hotel. Our room had a balconny so we could enjoy the sun until the very end of the day! This hotel is a real treat and offers the best service, travellers on limited budget should find there the best alternative to crapy hostels !!!

Very comfortable, hospitable and relaxing hotel, I did enjoy so much my stay there. Although some guests define it as an "old" in their reviews, I would rather say it is some kind of a retro with its special pleasing character. Guess in its times it was quite a rich one. Everyday cleaning was absolutely perfect and with great attention to some of my needs, notwithstanding that I didn't specially ask anything. Great location in the heart of a town center and within a short pleasant walk to a very nice beach. It is the only hotel in the part of an old town, another alternative is only private rooms with shared baths in a number of hostels for almost same or even more money. Some people write here that breakfast is poor, but for that unbeatable price of a welcoming, comfortable and completely private stay you shouldn't expect too much. So, breacfast was not bad and moreover still included to a low price of a room. If I come back to Lagos, I will not look for any other place of a budget stay.

Localization The host treated us like the idiots from big city. Room is old and looks untidy. Only bathroom was renovated but it was very little and shower curtain was ugly.

The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated; the lift was wonderfully quaint; the lobby pleasant. The noise, and three sleepless nights. The hotel is located on a fairly quiet street well away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. But at night, bars such as RedEye bar, Karma etc. all scream their loud music onto the street and disgorge loud, drunken revellers who sing, shout and fight just outside the hotel bedrooms. This is a great hotel if you want to stagger from one of those bars into bed. But forget about getting any sleep until at least 4am.

The Hotel was in a great location in the Heart of Lagos city center. If you just need a place to rest, while you go out to have fun and sight see, this place is not bad. Free breakfast in the morning. Cold cuts bread and juice and cheese, its free! Parking very limited in front of hotel with a very narrow road, but you are not far from the 24 hour parking garage walking distance from hotel so it all works out great.

Good value for money. Room has good size Internet works at lobby only and sometimes. When I asked receptions to fix it (restart router), she didn't want to do that and we had to wait for IT service come to hotel to fix it. Parking is not possible in front of hotel (only 5 spots which are always full), you have to park on the street on your own. It was quite difficult to find free place for parking and it was quite far away from hotel.

Perfect location, good breakfast, clean and tidy room The hotel advertises having wifi throughout the hotel- in fact our confirmation email said Congrats on booking and listed 'wifi throughout the hotel' as a feature. When we challenged this, the staff were very rude about it but eventually moved us to a first floor room with no balcony and no view. We were also not allowed o bring a guest up into our room (not to sleep the night, just for drinks!). And the quality of the beds was not great. I think overall a fine hotel, but the staff attitude ruined our experience...

The hotel rooms have been renovated - ours was on third floor and was really nice. Small flatscreen tv - unfortunately only 4 channels and none of them in English. The beds were comfortable, and we had a nice little balcony facing the street. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff at the front desk were very nice, spoke very good English and were helpful with every question we had. Breakfast was good value being included in the cheap room price, just simple cereals, breads fruit and yoghurt but definitely did the job. Like the other reviewers said, the 'orange juice' was not the best, but it wasn't just cordial - there was definitely some orange pulp in there so maybe they are trying to improve it. All in all, an excellent find, we were very glad to have stayed there. Just that a 'double' room means two single beds pushed together. But you find this at a lot of places.

Location of the hotel was very good, it is in the centar of the old city, 5 minutes from the beach. Rooms are nice and big. Lady from reception was excellent, she provide us with useful information. Since the bar is located nex to the hotel, it may be really noisy in the evening.
