Auf dem Gang (5. Stock) hat es gemüffelt, das Badezimmer war in keinem so guten Zustand (Flecken an der Decke, Duschbrause rostig).

Das Frühstücksangebot hätte etwas vielfältiger sein können. Es war ok.

The bells, the bells. Nothing to do with the hotel but nearby church bells sounding every half hour a bit of a pain.

Our room was spacious and with a sea view and the hotel's location was excellent for both the beach and the Old Town's restaurants and shops.

The pool area was small and so couldn't cater for the number of clients wishing to use the facilities but we were aware of this and so didn't mind. However, anyone staying for the first time might well be disappointed at the lack of space.

A quick transfer from the airport , about 25 minutes took us straight to checkin with no delay. We had booked a seaview room and was happy to get 418 which was above pool level with a balcony big enough for 2 chairs and a small table. It overlooked the magnificent beach and old town and got the sun from sunrise to after midday. The infinity pool although shallow and not overly big was great to cool off in, even though my wife and her friend only dipped their feet in, not as adventurist as us men. The proximity to the beach, right above and the luxury of outdoor dining on their terrace made breakfast a delight although even in April I'd recommend the shade as it was very pleasantly warm at 10am. Overall the hotel was of good quality, the rooms had been refitted over the last few years and were very comfortable. We felt safe to leave the balcony doors open all night to the sound of the waves. We've paid less to stay in other hotels in old town Albuferia but the 65 euros a night for 2 with breakfast was well worth it. The reception staff were all great even when charging us a 30 euro deposit for a pool/beach towel but worth it to save some space as we had travelled with hand luggage and it was totally refunded when handing it back. I look forward to returning soon.

The location and the great sea view are great. Both fromthe room as well as from the terrace(s).

We stayed early in the season so car parking wasn't a problem. In the main season I assume this could be a problem if you'd rent a car, as the hotel doesn't have its own parking. As mentioned, this wasn't a problem for us now and everything was great.

Excellent location a short walk from the "Old Town".

Sea View rooms on level 3 share their balcony with the pool area, strange to open your curtains to find people sunbathing right outside your room!

The room and bathroom was very good quality and condition. Everything worked. Breakfast was very good but a second toaster is a must. Too much time wasted queuing and waiting for toast!

Nothing really....... comes across as a well run hotel. Don't change!

Staff very friendly & helpful we had a problem with toilet & porch door & they were fixed straight away when reported.... Cleaning ladies where very nice & waited for a later time to clean.

No double bed it was 2 single beds pushed together which moved apart rather easily.

The location of the hotel was first class overlooking the beach and seafront. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff kept them well maintained daily. Ample breakfast and helpful staff. Good value for money. Handy location for walk to old town.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, meals were good and good value for money and the premises were very clean and well maintained.

The spa opening hours could be longer as I like to use the facilities in the evening also the shower was hard to set. Overall 9/10

there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms, and I think that an early morning cup of tea or coffee would have made this holiday just that little bit better

Location of hotel, close to town centre

The staff were not very helpful or friendly. We had only lukewarm water in shower/bath. When we spoke to the reception staff about the water they were very uncerned and offhand with no offer to check or correct the problem. We had to wait to be seated each morning for breakfast as there were not enough tables in dinning room. I do not think we would consider this hotel if we were to return to Albefeira in the future.

The location and views were excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable and any dealings we had with the staff they were very helpful

The rooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated and smart. The pool area was lovely. Close to the Old Town and beach. Breakfast very good - lots of choice. Albufeira is a great destination out of season - I certainly wouldn't go at the height of summer.

There were warning notices all over the place about stealing food, bringing in your own booze and smoking in the rooms. It felt like we were being treated like irresponsible children. Cosmetically the hotel looks good but when you look closer it has obviously been through a refurb - there are spaces in some of the joins. Also the cleaning could have been more attentive - there were cobwebs on our balcony and the sink wasn't wiped.
