With a themed décor based on the Portuguese tiles, My Story Hotel Ouro occupies an 18th century building in the heart of the historic Baixa district of Lisbon.

Housed in a restored historical building, the America Diamond’s Hotel features a top-floor dining room with panoramic views. Picoas Metro Station is located right opposite the hotel.

Located in the historic centre of Lisbon, Baixa Pombalina, this hotel is near the Restauradores and Rossio Squares. It has a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1851 reviews Very good
The hotel is centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere.
The wifi was sometimes hard to get on and the bathroom very small.
Le bruit dans la chambre
Good location, very clean, smart staff, good restoration close to the hotel
Wi Fi did not work in the room, the room is very small, no place for luggage
Comfortable bed. Good plumbing. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bit noisy at night. Cafés and restaurants until late at night and rubbish carts early morning. Rooms silent if windows shut but I don't like sleeping with the air con on.
Rooms Location Cleanliness Breakfasts
Wifi was sketchy at times
Fatima in reception was terrific, very helpful with questions and directions. Room very modern, breakfast was very good. Very centrally located and if you did not want to walk plenty if good restaurants right outside be door on pedestrian only streets.
Not a big issue but her assistants in reception not in the same league, made a mistake with my bill, I would imagine if Fatima not there might be a problem, again not a big deal
Very friendly and helpful staff. No complaints about anything.
Nice newly renovated hotel in a great location. Very quiet for sleeping. Easy walking distance to many historic areas and to local transportation.
Breakfast service area was too crowded. Not much selection for breakfast, not enough crockery. It felt like you were always missing something.
We had a great view of the castle from our room which was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is ideally situated, within walking distance to stations for trip to Sintra or Cascais. Good selection of restaurants nearby.
I have just stayed in room 501 for 2 days. We were 3 and there was plenty of space in the room AND in the bathroom. Air conditioning, bed linen, cleanliness and wifi...everything was very good. Staff was very useful and patient with our questions. Even when we were leaving (they kept our luggage a whole day) And the best about the hotel is the location. Between Rossio and Libertade. Quiet but close to everything walking. A lot of things to do in the neigbourdhood but less expensive that Rua Augusta and its surroundings. I would go back (even though it is not cheap)
We liked the location of the hotel. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the city coming to life and at night-time to look out of the balcony window and see the city in full swing! Also, it was very easy to get to and from the airport which is always important.
We had no complaints about the hotel, the pricing, the location or the staff.
Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpfully. Lovely shower and rooms very clean.
Wifi if you need it is not great in the rooms. It's fine in the lobby.
Location very central Quiet Very clean Friendly, helpful staff Good breakfast
Originally I booked also 2 nights parking; decided to return rental car earlier; had still to pay for un-used parking
very good location (total central but quite) cheap and good breakfast
Small rooms Not recommended with car..no parking possibilty in front of the hotel, not even for discharging the package
We liked the very helpful staff, beautiful breakfast on an interior terrace, and location. This was the only modern hotel on our trip, but it was very clean, super comfortable bed and linens and well put together.
The room and bath were tiny, but the our three floor to ceiling windows made it bright.
Location excellent Close to: restaurants, metro, buses, etc. Free bottles of water nice touch Big comfy bed Great hot shower Overall, a great little hotel for the money and excellent for a short stay.
Room very small Not enough coat hangers No overhead light (seems to be a trend in hotels nowadays) Would have liked a bath. We were right beside the lift so a bit of noise in the morning but not really bad.
Friendly staff. Lovely modern rooms and great breakfast for 8€ A very reasonably priced hotel for such a central location- would book again
Central location, can walk anywhere. Great value, excellent bed and pillow. I would stay again in a heart beat!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Fatima went out of her way to chat to us and help us, she gave special attention to our toddler and gave good restaurant suggestions. The hotel manager opened up the entire breakfast area in the evening and offered us whatever we could possibly need because our overtired toddler would not sit still at a restaurant, we had to get our food to-go. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, it had all the modern fixtures, updated in everyway and a gorgeous view of the castle. The bed was so comfortable and our son slept well in the cot which the hotel provided free of charge. We highly recommend staying at the Rossio Garden Hotel and we will definitely return.
great location, brilliantly helpful staff, very clean. One of the best Lisbon hotels we have stayed in.
Breakfast ok, but as an English person, I need a proper cup of tea in the morning.
Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room. I will never stay anywhere else whenever I am in Lisbon. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great --within walking distance to everything -- variety of restaurants, squares, cafes, metro stations. Also, only short walking distance from the Aerobus stop from the airport. Room and bathroom were clean. The Rossio was one of the few hotels we stayed in while in Portugal that had multiple English TV stations!
Everything was fabulous!
The parking was a hassle
-Excellent location. -Very friendly staff. -Nice, quiet and comfortable rooms.
-Absence of a mini-bar, a bad practice that several otherwise very good hotels have been adopting. -The wi-fi service is a bit faulty.
