Located between Portela da Cerdeira and Cerdeira, this typical Portuguese country house in Cerdeira offers scenic views of the surrounding valley and Açor Mountains.

Quinta Vale Porcacho is a 40-minute drive from Serra da Estrela Natural Park. All rooms are carefully furnished and feature sweeping views of the Mondego Valley.
Score from 4 reviews Exceptional
Cozy, relaxing and with stunning views. A beautiful gem, on the slopes of the Açor Mountain, near Serra da Estrela. Delicious food and good service. Rooms are lovely, but the Junior Suite is a must stay. Definitely recommended.
Nothing particularly, honestly.
Very beautiful, incredible views.

Magical place Stuff with a "real heart" area around (village)
The Staff The gardens The view The restaurant
It is a great and lovely hotel. The garden with his pool is very nice. Very good maintenance of the garden (and ofcourse the rest of the hotel) The pool is large. You can eat very well there. (Menu card also in dutch and english) It is nice that can speak several languages (also Dutch). They are very helpfull. Yes, we will come back here. We really loved it here.
The family room - 2 small berdrooms - was to small compared with the others family rooms.
The area is very scenic. The hotel is reasonably comfortable and it has an interesting "personality".
The breakfast was somewhat limited. The restaurant was just above-average in terms of quality and taste of the food, but well above-average in terms of price. The village (Aldeia das Dez) closest to the hotel is pretty, but offers very little to the visitor.
Personal touches - staff you can talk to, great rooms, stunning location, beautiful restoration of the building, excellent breakfast and restaurant. This was my second stay here, and I've stayed in a LOT of hotels...
the intimist atmosphere of the hotel
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They made a great effort to speak English to us and did very well. The reception and restaurant staff were efficient with a very pleasant manner. The food was very good and the restaurant ambient. Wonderful building with lovely rooms which was very well appointed. We were travelling with another friend who had his own room which was also lovely. The drive to the hotel is down a mountain road which is a little unnerving in the dark, however, it was worth it for the beautiful views from the hotel in the morning. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. The hotel certainly lived up to expectations.
There was nothing we did not like!
Excellent, customer-caring staff! Very comfortable and clean, perfect to relax and enjoy the countryside.
We liked the feel of the hotel, it was a good place to relax and unwind. The staff were very helpful. Although we only had a short stay, we were very happy with what was on offer. The breakfast buffet menu was excellent.
We would have preferred coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The chicken piri piri dish was very disappointing and overpriced in my opinion.
Nice room and very helpful and friendly staff
I like the quiet relaxation and the views. After a day at the pool, dinner in the restaurant is a great plus
Wifi not doesn't quite work. TV has lousy channels and picture
