Being a central area with a lot of restaurants and bars, it was extremely noisy until late at night, so it was impossible to sleep with the window open, and in any case the blind could not be drawn down while the window was open. So you had to sleep with the air conditioning on, which I don't like. The bathroom was compact, very nice and modern, but there was nowhere to hang anything (towel, dressing-gown etc.), and the light was on a motion sensor, so if you stayed still for more than a few seconds (as one sometimes does in a bathroom) you were plunged into darkness! Breakfast is not available until 9 am when the ice-cream shop opens; as I had to be out and about before then each day, I had an unpleasant argument with the management about having the cost of breakfast refunded (it was included in my booking). Potentially a very nice place to stay, but too many minor problems to make it worth recommending.
The location was excellent, very central, so in easy reach of historic sites, transport etc. The room was clean and comfortable, though very small. The ice cream in the shop downstairs was first-class!
