SANA Sesimbra Hotel  

Was pretty clean and close to the beach.

The staff was poor, AND NOT WELCOME at all, espessialy on breakfast meals, no basic service in spa, no towels.. food wasnt superior at all..

Nice room, swimming-pool at roof top, as also is the sauna. Good breakfast. Book a sea-view room, it's worth the extra money!

At check-in the staff did not by itself offer the code for wifi, as well as they did not offer towels and wardrobe for the swimming-pool. We had had to ask for these after we checked in. Further diner in the restaurant is good (very nice food) but the staff is not very thoughtful (long waiting-times, forgetting to serve ordered items).

towels - very hard and scratchy, let the Hotel down I think. Towels should be provided on 6th floor for the pool - not on reception.

The pool and sauna are always a draw. If you can brave it the jacuzzi is fun too. We have stayed here lots over the last 10 years and this was the first time we tried the restaurant for evening meals. We weren't disappointed. the menu isn't extensive but what they produced was excellent. great service too. Get a room with a sea view as it's well worth the extra few quid. the sound of the sea is fabulous.

The piped through music (which you can control in your room). But maybe that's just me.

We had a terrace off our room looking over the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and nice. We paid more for this hotel than most but we can understand why. The pool and facilities are a bonus but the pool is somewhat shallow, but great for kids.

Good location in Sesimbra, which is a nice small town with an authentic feeling. The room was nice if only for the size. With a baby bed it is a bit narrow but still ok. Restaurant is very nice, cheap compared to surrounding offers. Food was also very good and tasty. The pool area is rather large and luxurious with the jacuzzi sitting on top of the hotel with view large on the village, ocean, castle and hills. Perfect on a full moon! Sauna and gym are ok. We'll come back if we plan another weekend around Lisbon

Our bathroom was confortable but not up to 4 star standard. The sound of the waves is actually quite loud at night and can disturb sleep at night.

The hotel was beautiful; I especially enjoyed the roof top pool / lounge area, sauna, etc. Service was excellent; the staff were wonderful. The food was great. The location was fantastic --- just steps away from the beautiful beach!!! Amazing vacation!!

There was nothing about the hotel that caused me any dissatisfaction.

We like the hotel as it is easy, clean and close to the beach and we know it well from other stays.

I booked the wrong room unfortunately (but we got the one I requested; only that I had the wrong number in mind!) so we had one with view to the backyard where there is a constant noise of ventilation/air condition/other devices and food smell sometimes, so the window can not be kept open at night, and it is not very nice to look at during the day. But as we stayed outside most of the time this was a minor thing. Room and bathroom were perfect.

wonderful view on the Ocean , nice Hotel staff and Sesimbra itsself is very beautiful. The pool can be used as well during bad weather , and smaler kinds (1m) will be realy comfortable in the pool .

all was great and wonderful , we will come back.

The beds are hard.

The location is fantastic, overlooking the beach and if you have a sea view balcony room it is so relaxing to go to sleep to the the sound of the ocean just a short distance from your room. Breakfast was good and could be taken on the terrace outside again overlooking the ocean. Room good and spotlessly clean as were all parts of the Hotel. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Our one and only complaint was the 10euro a day charge for wi fi access. We felt this was excessive and really in this day and age should be a free service for a hotel of this standard.
