It is situated in the southeast part of Serra da Estrela, about 20 km from the highest point of Portugal, the tower (2000 mt).
For 800 years that the wool labour exists as one of the main woollen goods centre of Europe. Great natural city or surrounding figures became determinant for all de discovery of the XV and XVI centuries: exploring the Atlantic, the sea route to India, discovering America and Brasil, the first journey of circum navigation the earth. Covilhã is situated in the centre of the region where are located 9 from 10 Portuguese historical villages.
The cuisine, special reference to Serra's cheese, the wines of Cova da Beira and the especially appreciated little buck and lamb.

the price There was a school party of about 30 children in the hotel, slamming doors until 2.30 am and behaving like all children would behave when left unsupervised.There are 8 floors in this hotel, so we could have been offer a room on the 8th floor, away from all the noise on the 3rd and 4th floors where the party was being held. Thank you for depriving us of sleep and making our night a misery |

Fiquei muito satisfeito com o Hotel principalmente pela relação preço/qualidade.É confortável, limpo,funcionários são simpáticos e oferece um pequeno almoço decente. Não tem restaurante e as zonas circundantes ao Hotel está pessimamente mal servida em restaurantes.Fiquei bem desagradado com o tempo perdido á procura de um sitio digno para comer. |

O que eu mais gostei foi do atendimento dos funcionários da recepcao. Eles foram sempre muito atenciosos. Vale comentar a beleza do nascer-do-sol vista da varanda do hotel, com as montanhas ao fundo, lindo. |

Fiquei 1 noite neste hotel 2*. O atendimento na recepção foi bom e o quarto, embora de tamanho médio com cama de casal, tinha comodidades de acordo com a classificação do hotel. O pequeno almoço buffet é razoável. O hotel tem 8 pisos que são servidos apenas por 1 elevador, pelo que é elevado o tempo de espera. |

A estadia foi apenas de uma noite e portanto não houve muito tempo para apreciar, no entanto posso dizer que o isolamento acústico não existe pois ouve-se o que se passa nos quartos; o elevador é pequeno e, tanto quanto vi, apenas existe um e o estacionamento é nitidamente insuficiente. o facto do funcionário da recepção estar "abancado" no sofá com um amigo (que bebia cerveja) a verem futebol e nem um "boa noite" quando entrámos, de facto, não foi muito agradável... |

El trato recibido fue correcto en todo momento, la habitación limpia aunque los complementos de baño escasos, sólo pastilla de jabón y un sobrecito de gel de baño. Tambíen eche de menos la fruta en el desayuno, no había nada ningún día y los zumos (piña y naranja) eran de polvos artificiales y muy diluidos. Tal vez, si pusieran frutas naturales y zumos de cierta calidad, mejoraría el desayuno. El desayuno se puede mejorar bastante. |
