Excellent hotel. Reasonable rates; modern, comfortable rooms; friendly and helpful staff; good location (a bit removed from the older parts of the city but on a handsome, tree-lined avenue right across the street from the subway). No pay TV (in other words, no movies available on demand); no Internet terminals for guests. |

The Sofitel Lisbon shows that the Accor Group can create very elegant hotel accommodation alongside their wider market "cheap and cheerful" hotel brands Some of the rooms have interconnecting doors that allow sounds to travel easily between rooms. It could mean that guests might be obliged to stay in such a room although, in our case, despite the hotel being very busy, the helpful reception staff did manage to move us out of the interconnecting room we were originally allocated. |

Close to city center, (sehre yakın), clean and comfortable room (temiz ve rahat odalar), easy to arrive from airport, 10€ by taxi. (Havalimanından taksi 10€) Rooms are small compared to the price. |

The staff was very helpful and courteous. At 17 euros, Breakfast was too expensive. It should be much less expensive than that. I did not like the fact that wireless Internet connection was not free. In fact it was outrageously expensive. |

On arrival the staff were extremelly friendly and helpful, providing a map and pointing out on the map areas of interest, restaurants, train station, etc. Also warned about pick-pocketing and advised to use hotel safe for passports. The decor in the rooms was lovely and modern, yet warm and relaxing, the bathroom was excellent and the bed extremelly comfortable. I thought breakfast was expensive - priced at €17 for continental, which is what I would expect to pay for buffet. |

Very impressed with the decor and qualilty of the rooms. Bed and linen very comfortable. Would recommend. Bar & rest facilities/breakfast expensive relative to Lisbon prices. Didn't therefore use these facilities. |
