Outstanding staff were very helpful and accommodating. Personal greeting from the owner at breakfast was a nice touch. Very comfortable room and huge common areas. Optional evening meal was delicious and served in a lovely private dining room.

Rooms are perfectly heaten. Very well coocked hi quality food!

Hotel common areas are a bit cold in the winter, minus celsius temps at night, inneficient heating. Fireplace is a candle holder. If hotel is full, you may not be able to dine!

Fabulous boutique type hotel in a converted manor house tucked away inside a small village. Service was extremely personal but simultaneously discreet - just the way we like it. The hotel serves dinner by pre-order only, which is absolutely recommendable. The food is excellent while being unpretentious and decisively local; not to mention the size of the portions which proved the better of us. This is just the place to indulge in a luxurious environment within a perfect local setting off the beaten tourist track.

The location of the hotel means that you will need a car for survival.

The whole staff was extremely helpfull and friendly, they did everything to make our stay very pleasant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (excellent beds). Lovely breakfast in the morning in a cosy atmosphere.

Sometimes it seemed the hot water was running out a little.
