The general aspect of the hotel is very poor and dirty. It does not look like a 4 stars hotel at all. The walls and furniture look very bad and it was incredibly cold in the room. The street is very scary at night, even if easy to reach by metro. TThe sheets and towels were not white and looked dirty. We will not return to this place.We booked more nights but left after the first one.

Large rooms, description both on their site and on booking.com are very accurate, the air conditioning was a blessing. It was quite close to the old centre, various shops and reasonablly close (about 300 m) to a metro station. The buildings in the area look a bit run down - or so I thought before visiting Ribeira - but the whole neighbourhood felt very safe. Again: good location.

At first I noticed a certain smell in the room but opening the window solved the problem - the view isn't fantastic, but they never said it would be, breakfast is convenient to have at your hotel but if you happen to catch an offer witout it you're not missing out on much.

i do not know as upon arrival we were told we were to stop somewhere else called Pensao Aviz and had to walk ther instead.Therefore my comments are based on that accommodation. There were 2 members of staff who were very very friendly , cheap internet access and cheap price to stay. very good location

poor choice at breakfast. There were 2 other members of staff who were pig ignorant. was a cockroach in 1 of our 3 rooms but you get what you pay for and it was adequate for a stag holiday

clean hotel, central location, fresh breakfast

noisy - especially the flushing of toilets could wake up an entire floor, reception staff unable or unwilling to help with information about restaurants or transport within the city

Hotel is placed in the center of city, but in the rooms were quiet. My room had balcony with the look to main towers of Porto. The personel gave us the maps and explained clearly about hotel facilities, transport, sightseeing etc. on the arriving.
