The staff was nice and helpful.
it was kinda far from the center.
it is a low cost hotel, should be seen as such. it has all the comfort you need from a short trip free wifi, always important when you're on a business trip
The room was nice, and clean. The bed was comfortable.
The location. From the metro is is 20+ min walk and it is not advisable to walk at night. The taxi came to 22 euros from the airport.
Excellent value for money, great staff, comfy room, brilliant shower! Huge choice at breakfast and the BEST foreign cup of tea I've ever had. Good and inexpensive base from which to explore Porto.
No plugs near mirror made it difficult to use straightening irons, and wifi signal was a bit hit-and-miss. A little noisy at night if you like the window open.
WI-FI was good for Portugal.
Very far from city centre and other attractions, had to continually use the car.
Good Service and good value for money.
Any extras were a bit expensive i.e. Breakfast, laundry
Location Wifi Price VS Quality
Staff was friendly but lacked some formality.
Good value for money. Especially for one night travellers.
Only if you do not have any other options in the town
Poor overall quality of the room Stinky smell of dirty socks in the room Dirty lobby and stinky smell of alcohol in elevator
In general, the experience was positive. The negative points were minors, did not spoiled our pleasant stay.
If you do not have a car may not be easy the access to this hotel. The WiFi keeps asking to login. It seems that if WiFi is not used for some time it logs off automatically. In the early hours of the night from Saturday to Sunday the WiFi was off, or too slow to use. They told in the reception desk that the system was in maintenance. As a matter of fact, in the morning the WiFi was working all right again.
clean and modern, size and everything was perfect for the purpose
I could not use wifi at all although password was put in and apparently connected. Perhaps it was so slow...
Quiet, clean, friendly. Bus line close. Ate breakfast at hotel, it was good. Had dinner across the street twice, Pizzia and Chinese, very good.
Well designed budget hotel with a bit of flair. Rooms comfortable, good bathroom and shower. Cafe was excellent breakfast
A bit hard to get to. You can see it from the main route but, its located within a small industrial / residential area. Keep faith with your sat nav!
Lobby ia uggly and dirty
Staff excellent. Food very good. Rooms v good also. Glad we chose this hotel!
I liked everything.
There was good parking, Location for amenities and coast,
Cleanliness. Good insulation. Noise-free rooms. The hotel away from the main street. The staff is works well.
A small breakfast menu. The hotel far from the city center.
Nice clean room, free parking, easy for those with their own car
A bit far from the city center.
Very comfortable rooms, we stayed at a "family apartment" - two rooms, one double bed and two single beds, basic but modern and functional furniture and decoration, lots of natural light. The hotel has a large private (free) parking, free wifi in the rooms and public areas. We had a large jacuzzi-like bathtub in the bathroom.
A bit far from the center and nearby public transportation is quite limited. Understaffed in the breakfast area which caused some delays at rush hour (around 9am).
The room was great, very comfortable and hotel-like. Big screen TV, coffee and tea facilities in the room, car parking.... It was a great choice in Matosinhos.
Confortable room at an afordable price
A bit far from the center but you can take the bus just 200m from the hotel
I used to live across the street from this hotel, so for me it has a special Nostalgia. It wasn't the first time I've stayed there, and it will always be a first option when I'll need to go to Porto. They have wi-fi now, which is recent, but very practical.
As I said it wasn't the first time on the hotel, anyway was the first time I've tried the breakfast there. In my opinion it doesn't worth the 6€. It doesn't have that many options unless you want to become a diabetic because the major part of the breakfast is cupcakes, personally I don't think you should start the day with that much sugar. Another BAD thing, The lady serving there was the most unfriendly person on heart. As much as I like this hotel, it's a little bit difficult to find if you're coming the first time.
