Wunderfull hostel with great interior design, comfort and very friendly and helpfull staff! It felt like home! The kitchen, like the rest of the hostel, is pretty and clean and there's everything you need! It is located in a very nice and lively neighbourhood and very close to urban transport! Next time we visit lisbon, we'll be staying here again for sure!
The hostel was gorgeous and always clean. We had our own private room, with a beautiful bathroom attached. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone travelling in Lisbon. Location is great, staff are so nice and helpful and gave great advice!
24u/24u reception, beautiful accomodation! Good located.
Some noice in the evening through good location.
Location and the facilities, the kitchen. Cleanliness.
The first impression of the common use space, cleanliness, well equipped kitchen and the rest of the facilities is good. The lady who stays at the front desk or, same frequently, in the smoking ward just behind the glass, she would fit to sell some goods at a gipsy flea market better. As a salesperson she is perfect, but hospitality is not her good side. I booked a suite but the room I was shown (after a long presenation and complimenting the everything else) did not resemble the one from booking.com at all. Of course the lady explained that they have different rooms, but mine was taken by some, nicer perhaps, couple. I highly not recommend to have a suite at Lisbon Stay Inn (Beds2Share - Actividades Hoteleiras, Lda), because it is really dark and unwelcoming. You get prison window just at the street ground level, so you can have a coffee with the pedestrians. The other suite has no view, unless you appreciate to watch a small courtyard that is more like a gloomy vent tunnel. All in all, maybe it is a good place to stay for some younger people who enjoy the posh style and some snobing. Maybe it would be good for some really unexperienced travellers too. For almost the same price I had a 5 star hotel in a better location. But the hostels are fun, the other hostels I mean. And by the way, if you ever asked the lady that you wanted to speak with the manager, she would teach you that the managers are these busy people who you are not allowed to talk with, even on the phone.
Everything are excellent in this hostel!! Maybe is the best (from more than 100) hostel i have ever been!!!! The staff and the owners are absolutely wonderful persons and make you to feel like home!!!! Their philosophy is to feel like home!!! I suggest that to anyone!!!! Clean, cosy, central, and most of all kind and friendly!!!!! Thanks all of you guys for the special 7 days in Stay inn Lisbon hostel!!!!
The property has a great location, close to Bairro Alto but still calm and I actually slept very well. Staff was very nice and helped me with bus/train schedule, printing maps, etc. I would warmly recommend it to everybody as all the main spots are easily accessible from the place.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave us lots of recommendations.
everything was very good .Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities excellent. 24 hour reception staff who were consistently very pleasant
loved the location, all the staff were so helpful and welcoming and great value for the price
Location is excellent. Service is very good. Friendly staff! Nice shower facilities although abit small.
Room has no aircon, heater, or fan. Experienced a hear wave, but no ventilation of room. Could not sleep well. In addition, busy street next to room, as the unit is just one level above street. Very very noisy on weekends with parties till 2-3am, especially with the windows open during the summer. Warm and noisy, not a good place to rest during summer. Just beware, and probably avoid during weekend unless you like to party and sleep very late after 2am.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The position. The price-quality relationship.
No shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom.
Wonderful place with wonderful people. Staff was very kind and helpful. We spend with them very nice evening tasting local food. We can fully recommend this place. Good localisation for sightseeing.
Friendly staff, great facilities, excellent location.
The private double is over a restaurant, which makes for a noisy Saturday night. Earplugs solved the issue.
Feels like home
Decor Location Cleanliness - my room smelled freshly cleaned everyday Bathrooms felt like a spa Two areas for relaxing Large breakfast area, good breakfast options as well
Very helpful staffs
Stay too short period
Open minded people, really good brakefirst, helpful employees, short ways for sightseeing in Lisboa, enjoyed the stay very much (just 1 night), if i will be somewhen again in Lisboa, i will come back to stay inn Lisbon Hostel.
No AC in the Room - but thats ok.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Speak very well English. Breakfast very good and kitchen spotless clean. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Wifi didn't work in our room. Room very basic and small.
Amazingly friendly staff, chatty and kind, which is great when you're on your own. It honestly feels like a really nice home. Beautiful place, great location, thank you!
Almost being able to see people on the toilet through the foggy glass. But this was more funny than anything (and you could only see if you were already in the bathroom, which is private to the people sharing the room). Luckily, there's another toilet you can use. :)
Bien situado, muy limpio y nuevo.
The women that worked there were extremely nice and helpful
The noise at night could be rough
very kind staff, always helpfull, great facilities!
no complaines, excellent hostel!
Very friendly, interested, and helpfull staff, very fluent in English. Location plus: very central, many sights walking distance, many many pubs and restaurants nearby. Metro near etc. I had my own room with own - extremely nice - shower. Paid for double. Not cheap for a 'hostel', but definitely worth it. Good matress, good pillows. Great kitchen with all you need and more. Nice breakfast included. Everything very clean. Nice to be in a well cared for, well decorated (with a lot of thought put into) home away from home. Felt sad to leave. Will definitely recommend and hopefully return.
Location minus: My room looked out on a small road. Passers by looked in straight on eye level. When in room I needed to have the shutters closed for privacy. Lots of noise, inside (banging doors, loud footsteps on wooden floors) and outside (your general big city noise). I always use earplugs, so not a real problem. No garden or place to sit outside. Earliest possibility for breakfast 8.30 am. But all these things are nothing compared to all the pro's.
