Stella Maris  

Relaxful, peaceful, location, clean, secure, safe parking, quality, and great price! Second visit one year apart and I'd go back with out hesitation.

Spacious, clean, couldn't ask for much else really! Pool was refreshing if not a tad cool but was welcoming in the lovely weather we had, 10 minute walk to the gorgeous beach, enough restaurants nearby to last for a weeks holiday, wouldn't stay any longer simply for the location, wasn't a great deal within walking distance but as I said we went for a week and only wanted to relax in the sun

A great hotel for children. Very child friendly with a beautiful playground and swimming facilities for children with toys in the pool E.g a little slide, mushroom fountain etc. This is our second year here and we will be coming again.Good location, very private and away from the loud nightlife area of Albufeira but is only 10/15 min in a taxi to get to main centre if one wanted to go in. Very near the beach which is lovely also.

Food could be a bit better and service is a bit slow when ordering lunch etc. Maybe a bit more entertainment at night for adults that you could bring the kids to also E.G. music or whatever.

I fully recommend this hotel for family with children. There is really nice swimming pool for young children and playground. Really close to the beach even without car. Plenty of restaurants close to the hotel but not too close so it's not loudly. Underground parking for free. Room was clean with really nice balcony. Kitchen well equipped. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Not enough quantity of hot water. There is boiler in the room and for all members of family quantity is not sufficient. Boiler is warming water quite fast so it is not too annoying.

My friend Maisie, & I had a 9day break at Stella Maris. We enjoyed every minute of it.Our apartment was clean, comfortable, had a balcony, and all the facilities we needed. Staff were courteous and helpful, but never intrusive.The beautiful weather, was, of course an added bonus. We were out most of the day, but sometimes we relaxed by the pool, and had no difficulty finding chairs/loungers. We did self-catering, but had dinner in the dining room on the last evening. It was first class. The food selection was varied, appetising, and competitively priced. We were a little stressed when the airport shuttle didn't arrive on time(25 mins late), but luckily we made the flight on time. Next time we will book a private taxi.All said a happy experience, and we will be back. We will recommend Stella Maris to friends, and our club for group travel.

Comfort of the room, aircon in room was excellent. Room was checked every day. Very very clean.

Staff could be friendlier. Very poor location for getting around, bus service wasn't great. Very expensive to get around by Taxi.

Just back stayed for 10 nights 13 September, lovely little village few Restaurants and shops. Beach just down the road to the left. The beach red and white rock formation cliffs, sandy beach with a little restaurant, which steps down to the beach. Sea waves can be rough but fun plenty of sun beds costs 12.50 for two beds. You can buy your own umbrella for 12.00 euro in shop or in the main town for 4.95 euro. We enjoyed our stay it was our first holiday away together it was quite and relaxing loved it. If you wanted to see the match go to the main town by taxi 10 euros or 3.05 euro by bus. There is bars also beside the Stella Maris showing the European football. Had a wonderful time would go back again miss it already x x

Everything was great! The hotel staff was superb and the accommodation was very good. It is very close to the beach and it has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi with great sun exposure.

Good for small children. First hotel I ever saw that actually enforced the subbed rule

Pool table broken for most of stay and 2 euro per game is a rip off. Video machine broken too. Safety Deposit box constantly needed attention. 2.50 per day also too much. Hotel has serious maintenance issues. Half board package very poor. Sofa bed came from Alcatraz, I think

The easy walk to the beach, restaurants, groceries was nice. The pool, kids park and kiddie pool were nice. The room was spacious and adequately stocked. Parking was easy and free.

The furniture is very worn and needs replacement.

Quiet hotel with efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Nice large swimming pool and children's pool. General appearance of lobby and public lounges is smart and elegant. Our apartment was simple and pleasant with a large dining area and a very clean and well equipped kitchen.

The sofa and arm chairs in our apartment were quite drab and in need of refurbishing, also a few cushions would enhance the comfort and enjoyability of the apartment.
