Stella Maris

When we first did the booking was only for two nights, We loved it so much that we stayed 5. The Hotel is very close to the beach ( 800m). The staff are friendly and always try to accommodate your requests. Very clean Hotel.We had a T1 ( sleeps 4) for 46 euros a night.

All the staff talked with you which is very good but not the Hotel Manager. She doesn't engaged with customers at all.

thought that they should have advised people that although it was self catering we should have been informed that we needed to take a tea towel. have stayed in other places and that was provided. also sofa's weren't that clean in the rooms or the hotel reception area, and the rugs should be removed as corners turned up which is dangerous and also not clean. drinks expensive in the hotel a lot cheaper outside.

Beautiful, spacious, clean, well appointed studio apartment, more like a 1 bedroom actually. Reception staff excellent. No views to speak of from any of the rooms but a decent sized balcony. Bathroom good size.

Nearest beach not too far but not accessible if you have mobility problems lots of steps, parking would be impossible in summer season. Hotel quite a distance from the centre of Albufiera. At dinner we were presented with some bread, two small containers of fish paste and two small packets of butter, which we duly ate and then were charged €5 for them, they were not worth 50 cents. There is no indication that there is a charge for these and by the prices of the food on the menu one would presume they would be free. I complained on receipt of the bill and they took the €5 off. I was told this was normal. Food was good but not worth the price. Service good until I complained then very chilly!

Sofa in the living is very old and difficult to sleep in. Not enough sunbeds at swiming pool

Facilities are very recent. Staff is sympathic and capable. Free car parking is extremely important for me.

The beds and the Mattress were not god, my back usually were hurting in the morning. The quality of our sleep, on a resting period, is extremely important. The sofas are also not quit confortable.

Our room was excellent(for 4 persons)! Morden and full equipment kitchen! Location of the hotel was very peaceful.10 min to go on the beach. I'm recommend this hotel all, who wants relax and rest.

An absolutely wonderful stay . .even though it was not yet opening season. . .we found lovely restraunts nearby, we drove to Seville and to other resorts in Portugal great roads to drive on . . . .all in all it was 10/10 and I would reccommend this hotel and its whereabouts to everyone!! . .a big Thank You to "The Stella Maris and all its staff" :-d

Staff customer service, willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, much appreciated.

Not much recreational facilities, and may be n need of refurbishment in some areas.

We really can recommend the Stella Maris - everything was fine and also the sports opportunities like cross country course and the track!

The only thing to be mentioned would be a slight discomfort of the beds.

The location, spacious rooms, bright colours.

Just one staff member (reception dept.) seemed to be unhappy with his work, we suppose.
