one of the most beutiful beaches i've seen and ive seen alot. hotel very nice staff excelent you should highlight the beach as amazing no gym tenis not at hotel with my 16 year old son these were key to my booking. would not have booked this hotel if i understud these facilities are off site and gym closed. I'm disapointed in your discription its a wonderful hotel and beach not for tenis and gym |

This was the second time we stayed at the hotel and would go back again without hesitation. The staff, room etc were great and the service was excellent, rooms condition etc. If a problem arose the staff were very quick to sort it out. |

When we first did the booking was only for two nights, We loved it so much that we stayed 5. The Hotel is very close to the beach ( 800m). The staff are friendly and always try to accommodate your requests. Very clean Hotel.We had a T1 ( sleeps 4) for 46 euros a night. All the staff talked with you which is very good but not the Hotel Manager. She doesn't engaged with customers at all. |

Spacious appartments. Clean. Staff were unreliable and we felt frustrated by the way we were treated. One senior staff member tried to make up for the problems we encountered but the harm was done. |

relaxed thought that they should have advised people that although it was self catering we should have been informed that we needed to take a tea towel. have stayed in other places and that was provided. also sofa's weren't that clean in the rooms or the hotel reception area, and the rugs should be removed as corners turned up which is dangerous and also not clean. drinks expensive in the hotel a lot cheaper outside. |

Nice new hotel, beautiful green place, pine air around, spectacular beach. Place is not so crowded but not so far from Albufeira (~8km ) and from Vilamoura ~6 km - easy to walk along the sea. Good room equipment for cooking. It will be nice if hotel could provide free of charge shuttle to Albufeira (as the other hotels do in Madeira) as we didn't rent a car, taxi about 12 EUR one way and Bus schedule not always suitable. |

Beautiful, spacious, clean, well appointed studio apartment, more like a 1 bedroom actually. Reception staff excellent. No views to speak of from any of the rooms but a decent sized balcony. Bathroom good size. Nearest beach not too far but not accessible if you have mobility problems lots of steps, parking would be impossible in summer season. Hotel quite a distance from the centre of Albufiera. At dinner we were presented with some bread, two small containers of fish paste and two small packets of butter, which we duly ate and then were charged €5 for them, they were not worth 50 cents. There is no indication that there is a charge for these and by the prices of the food on the menu one would presume they would be free. I complained on receipt of the bill and they took the €5 off. I was told this was normal. Food was good but not worth the price. Service good until I complained then very chilly! |

Our week at Stella Maris was good, but I expected it to be better. I thought the staff were not very informative and not forthcoming with information regarding transport services from the hotel. eg we were unaware of the courtesy bus to Albufera and found out by accident. While the accommodation was suitable I thought the entertainment was only on 3 nights a week the other 4 nights we felt we had to go elsewhere. Dinner was only ok. The menu was poor and it was priced too high. |

Facilities are very recent. Staff is sympathic and capable. Free car parking is extremely important for me. The beds and the Mattress were not god, my back usually were hurting in the morning. The quality of our sleep, on a resting period, is extremely important. The sofas are also not quit confortable. |

Our room was excellent(for 4 persons)! Morden and full equipment kitchen! Location of the hotel was very peaceful.10 min to go on the beach. I'm recommend this hotel all, who wants relax and rest. Overlook at this time. |

An absolutely wonderful stay . .even though it was not yet opening season. . .we found lovely restraunts nearby, we drove to Seville and to other resorts in Portugal great roads to drive on . . . .all in all it was 10/10 and I would reccommend this hotel and its whereabouts to everyone!! . .a big Thank You to "The Stella Maris and all its staff" :-d |
