Located in tropical grounds overlooking the Funchale's Atlantic Ocean, Eden Mar features a lagoon-style outdoor pool. On-site amenities include a tennis court and a spa with jacuzzi, hammam and massage facilities. Modern rooms at the Suite Hotel Eden are air conditioned and equipped with cable TV. Each includes a kitchenette and private, ocean-view balcony. Private bathrooms feature marble tiling and a separate shower and bathtub. Guests can choose from several on-site restaurants serving Portuguese, Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Poolside and outdoor bars offer drinks, local spirits and desserts next to the popular Lido Promenade. Other facilities of the Suite Hotel include a well-equipped gym, an indoor pool and a children’s playground. Babysitting service is available upon request. The hotel is very well located, close to city center, surrounded by different shops and restaurants. Being a part of the Villa Residence allowed to use all the facilities of three hotels. We enjoyed very much pools and restaurants. Our bathroom had a specific unpleasant smell.

The garden and pool area is fabulous, best we have ever seen. room was a good size with a nice balcony. bathroom was a little on the small side. breakfast was excellent and although we didnt eat an evevning meal, I understand they were very good. I am always irritated when you have to pay for things such as table tennis and darts

The warmth and freindliness we recieved on arrival and throughout our stay, the amazing landscapes around all the pools. The facilities for children were really surprising. In my opinion Eden Mar is so perfectly designed, it would be suitable for any type of tourist, from couples both young and old and families of any age. We had a wonderful time and both myself and my husband will be visiting again, but this time alone without family so that we can take full advantage of the restfulness and relaxation that we witnessed by other residents.

Perfect location close to Funchal center but away from its crowds, exellent layout and size of the suite, deversity of facilities available for the guests: good restaurants, several pools including heated indoor ones, impressive gardens, parking. Very helpful and competent staff.

Мы приехали в этот отель 2-ой раз, нам все очень нравится, отличные номера, большая территория, СПА комплекс. Не оценили ресторан - мы ходили в другие менее дорогие. Отдыхом очень довольны. Неприятно, когда серенькие немецкие старушки лезут в бассейн не приняв душ.

Os espaços exteriores são magnificos. Tanto as piscinas como os jardins. Tudo está muito bem mantido e arranjado. A localização do Hotel é óptima.

Schitterende bloemen en planten (met namen en herkomst) op het terrein van het hotel. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Leuke, afwisselende activiteiten voor wie er aan deel wil nemen van wijnproeverij (Madeira) in het hotel tot stadstour en sportieve(re) bezigheden. De ligging op ± 2 km (ten westen) van Funchal maakte het makkelijk er even heen te wandelen (ook al was er de mogelijkheid van de gratis shuttlebus heen en/of terug). Binnen- en buitenzwembad(en) met verschillende watertemperatuur van aangenaam tot best fris en de zwemhanddoekenservice (ruilen zo vaak je wilde). Het geheel maakte een zeer verzorgde indruk en stond garant voor een fijn verblijf (14 dagen). Er was geen aparte douche (alleen boven het bad).

Belles piscines, jacuzzis, billard,.....plusieurs restaurants à prix très corrects, très beau jardin, très bien situé face à la mer et Funchal à 15 min à pied. Des animations le soir. On n'a pas l'impression d'être nombreux malgré le grand nombre de chambres. On se perd un peu entre les différents locaux.

Hilfsbereites Personal . Saubere und ordentliche Zimmer. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet Stadtzentrum Funchal und wesentliche Sehenswürdigkeiten nur mit Auto, Taxi oder Bus erreichbar, es sei denn, dass 45-60 min Fußweg ok sind.

-Amplasarea, camera mare, balconul cu flori, spatios, palmierii si gradina, piscinele, locurile de joaca pentru copii, curatenia, serviciul la camera cu cateva exceptii -Nu am primit decat de 2 ori, cate un sapun mic, un sampon si o spuma de baie mici, desi eram 2 persoane adulte si nu ne ajungeau nici pentru o baie pe zi -nu aveau papuci, dar aveau halate foarte curate -dintre cei 4 receptioneri intalniti, 3 persoane au fost arogante sau nepasatoare, ne-au tratat cu dispret si cand nu am inteles explicatia lor, ne-au repetat pe un ton ridicat, dispretuitor. O singura receptionera a fost foarte draguta si ne-a ajutat cu excursiile dar si cu explicatii -am fost certati de ce am platit excursiile direct la soferul trimis de organizator (el ne-a cerut banii) si nu prin hotel (probabil pierdeau comisionul) - si cu taxiul, aceeasi problema Cred ca uita ca noi suntem "CLIENTUL" de la care vin banii... nu era gratis, am platit pentru confort, atitudine si politete (hospitality)

Stor fin hage med bassenger og rene oppussede rom. Synd de tok penger for absolutt alle små ting som safe, petanque, bordtennis, tennis osv. Oppvasken på kjøkkenet på rommet var heller ikke helt ren.

Este hotel y sus filiales estan fenomenal. Estuve en La Residencia y el apartamento era grande, espacioso, moderno, bonito. Este complejo está como a 5KM del centro de Funchal en un núcleo lleno de restaurantes y de turistas. Puedes disponer de un autobus que te lleva y recoge a Funchal sin coste y esto merece la pena dado el poco parking en esta ciudad. Me gustaría felicitar a Cecilia por su excelente labor en el hotel Eden Mar.

Grande gentillesse du personnel. Très belle vue sur la mer, on entend le bruit des vagues. Le centre commercial situé sous l'hôtel est bruyant, surtout pour les suites au bout de l'aile est. Cuisine du restaurant Alfama moyenne.
