instalaciones comunes, piscinas, salones... Tranquilidad, podian estar las instalaciones llenas de gente y no oirse ni un ruido. Los restaurantes del hotel excesivamente caros, aunque con muy buena calidad. Horarios poco "españoles" sobre todo en las cenas. Los restaurantes están llenos entre las 7 y las 8 de la tarde a las 9 dan la sensación de estar cerrados (cerraban a las 9 y media). Los españoles solemos tener horarios de comidas mas tardíos. Por supuesto no considero que esto sea culpa del hotel. |

descanso después de volver de jornadas recorriendo entera la Isla El cierre temprano, a las 19 horas, de las pisicinas extreriores. Tenía que usar, al volver, la pisicina cubierta. |

En lineas generales me ha gustado todo, pero destacaria el servicio y las intalaciones ,tambien el ambiente es muy agradable y el personal es muy profesional y saben cuidar muy bien a sus clientes les felicito. Nada, todo esta muy bien |

exellent location, green territory, best price/quality, perfect seaview, 4 pools in a tropical garden, free speedy wifi in public zones, realy big suite brackfast to expensive for its quality - better have it in a local caffe around |

you can use the facilities of all 3 hotels in the complex including Spa and indoor pools. All 3 hotels are interconnecting via corridors so no need to go outside. sometimes the signage was a little confusing and you had to guess which was the right direction to get to a certain part of the complex. |

Sleeping in, undisturbed. Eating in the excellent restaurants. Sunning ourselves in the magnificant gardens. Relaxing in our room and in the bar. Overall, the hotel was very well resourced and agreeable. Very little that you could wish for beyond what was there. We had a junior suite (excellent) at the end of a corridor, overlooking the car park. This was a bit noisy, and there was some street noise quite late at night. We should perhaps have asked to move, but the room was so comfortable...... |

I could be reluxed with nice view of the sea. In addition, I could enjoy shopping around there. This hotel is combined with other hotel, so the facilities are many and big. There are many restraunts and shops, so it is very convenient. |

We were booked in Eden Mar but were moved to Porto Mare at the same site due to issues at the Eden Mar. The whole site was gorgeous with excellent facilities and we were hard pressed to understand why it was not rated a 5 star. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Carge for using the pool table, although small is an annoyance. |

Very well located as part of a larger complex with good restaurants both on site and in the local area. Staff are friendly and responsive, rooms are spacious and well equipt for self catering if needed. There is no comfort in the rooms; the beds are as hard as a 'butchers slab' and the angular armchairs have hard 'slippy' vinyl covers, for comfort on a 'rainy day with book' we had to seek a sofa in the public areas. |

We liked the size and facilities in our suite, particularly being able to prepare our own breakfast(there is a well stocked supermarket in close proximity.) We also enjoyed the restaurants if we did not feel like going further afield. |

Outdoor setting was beautiful. Hotel restaurants were great. Hotel location was close to shopping center, grocery stores, several restaurants. Not to far of a walk to the main part of the city of Funchal. (Since walk back to hotel is up hill - I would not recommend walking back to hotel from the main part of the city). |

Our junior suite overlooking the garden, the pool and the ocean was simply beautiful. The suite was quiet, large and well laid out, with a private balcony. We appreciated having a kitchen and a large, modern bathroom with two sinks and a bidet. Our bed was so comfortable that we slept really soundly. We were also thrilled to have free access to our e-mail, from the computer in the lobby. We liked everything about our hotel. |
