exellent location, green territory, best price/quality, perfect seaview, 4 pools in a tropical garden, free speedy wifi in public zones, realy big suite brackfast to expensive for its quality - better have it in a local caffe around |

you can use the facilities of all 3 hotels in the complex including Spa and indoor pools. All 3 hotels are interconnecting via corridors so no need to go outside. sometimes the signage was a little confusing and you had to guess which was the right direction to get to a certain part of the complex. |

Sleeping in, undisturbed. Eating in the excellent restaurants. Sunning ourselves in the magnificant gardens. Relaxing in our room and in the bar. Overall, the hotel was very well resourced and agreeable. Very little that you could wish for beyond what was there. We had a junior suite (excellent) at the end of a corridor, overlooking the car park. This was a bit noisy, and there was some street noise quite late at night. We should perhaps have asked to move, but the room was so comfortable...... |

I could be reluxed with nice view of the sea. In addition, I could enjoy shopping around there. This hotel is combined with other hotel, so the facilities are many and big. There are many restraunts and shops, so it is very convenient. |

We were booked in Eden Mar but were moved to Porto Mare at the same site due to issues at the Eden Mar. The whole site was gorgeous with excellent facilities and we were hard pressed to understand why it was not rated a 5 star. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Carge for using the pool table, although small is an annoyance. |

Very well located as part of a larger complex with good restaurants both on site and in the local area. Staff are friendly and responsive, rooms are spacious and well equipt for self catering if needed. There is no comfort in the rooms; the beds are as hard as a 'butchers slab' and the angular armchairs have hard 'slippy' vinyl covers, for comfort on a 'rainy day with book' we had to seek a sofa in the public areas. |

Hotel facilities were great - everything in hotel to ensure great holiday including food, drink and entertainment. Staff excellent. |

We liked the size and facilities in our suite, particularly being able to prepare our own breakfast(there is a well stocked supermarket in close proximity.) We also enjoyed the restaurants if we did not feel like going further afield. |

Hotel location is great. There is a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Stuff is extremely helpfull and friendly. |

Excellent food - great food staff. Great resort type facilities. Parking was terrible. Internet limited to coming down to the lobby. |

Outdoor setting was beautiful. Hotel restaurants were great. Hotel location was close to shopping center, grocery stores, several restaurants. Not to far of a walk to the main part of the city of Funchal. (Since walk back to hotel is up hill - I would not recommend walking back to hotel from the main part of the city). |

Our junior suite overlooking the garden, the pool and the ocean was simply beautiful. The suite was quiet, large and well laid out, with a private balcony. We appreciated having a kitchen and a large, modern bathroom with two sinks and a bidet. Our bed was so comfortable that we slept really soundly. We were also thrilled to have free access to our e-mail, from the computer in the lobby. We liked everything about our hotel. |

my mom went to honeymoon at this hotel and she saisd it was the best one in whole madeira and that she would definitely like to return. They had a big terrace of 50 sqm full of sunshine the whole day, the swimpool was exelent. Also my mom had a birthday so the hotel has welcomed with a bunch of flowers and champaine. the position at the hotel is 6 km from funchal. |

This hotel you would find difficult to fault. We had a junior suite which had every facility. The Hotel Complex held a BBQ evening which was good. Pool towels were provided and therefore no requirement to take beach towels. For those who want a special night out try O Barqueiro fish restaurant. Also very popular is O Jango on Rue de Santa Maria, Old Town - Small but excellent. |

We have stayed at Eden Mar on numerous previous occasions over the last ten yeras; clearly we enjoy it. We booked via your site on this occasion because, at the time of booking, the Hotel did not have availability when we contacted them direct. |

very nice sea views, quiet location and in the vicinity promenade of 1,5 km along the sea which is rare in Madeira, breakfast is excellent in a open dining room with large terrace, Portuguese restaurant is nice but Italian (basilic) not the same high standard. The confort and size of the suite with large terrace was excellent but the small studio was less bright, a little worn but nice clean confortable beds and bathroom. |
