Необычайно приветливый персонал на ресепшн пытаются сами предложить наилучшие решения. Уютная территория с тропическим садом. Кровать кингсайз могла бы быть цельной, а не составленной из двух маленьких кроваток |

Приветливость персонала. красивый и ухоженный сад, с множеством поющих птиц, вид с балкона. чистота помещений. практичность и записки с разными пожеланиями, напр. относительно окружающей среды записка в ванной о том, как избежать бессмысленных стирок чистых полотенец. большие скидки на экскурсии, хотя нам не удалось ими воспользоваться, так как мы сперва останавливались в др. гостинице. У нас был номер с кухонным уголком. так как моющих средств для посуды не было, мы не знали, входит ли мытье посуды в уборку номера или нет. хорошо бы оставить на счет этого какое-то инфо или же ставить некие принадлежности, аналогично разового шампуня в ванной комнате. еще нам показалось, что сейф в номере не работает, но так как нам он не очень был нужен, у нас небыло цели узнать это наверняка. |

We liked the friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good facilities, well equiped. I thought the food and drinks prices were a little on the high side except during happy hour ! |

The Hotel was beautiful and benefits from its fantastic location looking out to sea.The staff were very helpful and would do all they could to help. The room was great although the beds a little hard.The hotel complex has all you need for a complete rest in a paradise setting. The hard beds. |

exellent location, green territory, best price/quality, perfect seaview, 4 pools in a tropical garden, free speedy wifi in public zones, realy big suite brackfast to expensive for its quality - better have it in a local caffe around |

you can use the facilities of all 3 hotels in the complex including Spa and indoor pools. All 3 hotels are interconnecting via corridors so no need to go outside. sometimes the signage was a little confusing and you had to guess which was the right direction to get to a certain part of the complex. |

Sleeping in, undisturbed. Eating in the excellent restaurants. Sunning ourselves in the magnificant gardens. Relaxing in our room and in the bar. Overall, the hotel was very well resourced and agreeable. Very little that you could wish for beyond what was there. We had a junior suite (excellent) at the end of a corridor, overlooking the car park. This was a bit noisy, and there was some street noise quite late at night. We should perhaps have asked to move, but the room was so comfortable...... |

I could be reluxed with nice view of the sea. In addition, I could enjoy shopping around there. This hotel is combined with other hotel, so the facilities are many and big. There are many restraunts and shops, so it is very convenient. |

We were booked in Eden Mar but were moved to Porto Mare at the same site due to issues at the Eden Mar. The whole site was gorgeous with excellent facilities and we were hard pressed to understand why it was not rated a 5 star. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Carge for using the pool table, although small is an annoyance. |

Very well located as part of a larger complex with good restaurants both on site and in the local area. Staff are friendly and responsive, rooms are spacious and well equipt for self catering if needed. There is no comfort in the rooms; the beds are as hard as a 'butchers slab' and the angular armchairs have hard 'slippy' vinyl covers, for comfort on a 'rainy day with book' we had to seek a sofa in the public areas. |

We liked the size and facilities in our suite, particularly being able to prepare our own breakfast(there is a well stocked supermarket in close proximity.) We also enjoyed the restaurants if we did not feel like going further afield. |

Outdoor setting was beautiful. Hotel restaurants were great. Hotel location was close to shopping center, grocery stores, several restaurants. Not to far of a walk to the main part of the city of Funchal. (Since walk back to hotel is up hill - I would not recommend walking back to hotel from the main part of the city). |
