The apartment was great, very spacious with lots of quirky features like a little desk, a rocking chair and my favourite: an ornamental typewriter! and a lovely little terrace. Artur met us to give us the keys and left us with a little booklet with pointers on what to visit. This was really helpful as we hadn’t planned anything in advance. He couldn’t have been more helpful even returning to fix the tv when it stopped working and offering to book us a taxi to the airport when we left. There was also a lovely arrival gift of a bottle of wine and some water. It was easy to travel to the different areas of Lisbon from the apartment. It was very clean with tea and coffee available, also books, games, mini bathroom toiletries. I can’t fault it. 10/10

Fully renovated, with large areas, this 120m2 apartment, 1st floor, combines a rustic decoration with modern facilities. It can comfortably accommodate 6 people (2 bedrooms, one with a large bed of 160x200, and the other with a single bed that can be turned to a large bed of 160x200, a big sofa-bed in the living room and one complete bathroom. We also have a baby cot, a high chair, and a baby bathtub. You'll find a big living room and a dining room, kitchen with all the appliances you need for cooking your breakfast, lunch or dinner, a washing machine and a dish washer. It also has a nice terrace (8m2) connected to the kitchen, where you can have your breakfast, chill out and get some fresh air, or play darts! We provide free coffee (Nespresso and Italian press), tea, bed linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, FIBER Wi-Fi w/ unlimited access, Cable TV with 130 channels (most of them in English, Cine Channels and Kid Channels) PARKING OPTIONS: Given its location in the historical center, only residents can park in the neighborhood. The street is also very narrow so not possible to stop the car. However, there are paid parking options just a few minutes away from the flat. The closest one is at Martim Moniz (1 minute - 36eur a day) and the other, cheaper, is called Parque do Chão do Loureiro (5 minutes away - 20eur a day). We kindly ask you to not make noise, especially between 23h00 and 9h00. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment (use the terrace please). Pets only allowed upon request. Other facilities: Basic products for cooking (salt, olive oil, spices, etc) Large fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, city gas stovetop Nespresso coffee machine and capsules Italian press and grinded coffee. We are 2 portuguese brothers that love the city of Lisbon and know it like the palm of our hands! For living we have our jobs in finance and tourism and have studied and lived abroad throughout our lives! We will give you the keys personally. At the apartment we'll provide lots of information about this historical and multicultural neighborhood and Lisbon, like places to visit and our very own list of recommendations! We have a flexible policy concerning the check-in/out time, so don't worry if you get a delay on your flight, or anything else. However, please inform us whenever it's possible. Our guests can reach us at any time (24/7). We work and live near the flat. On your arrival we will provide you a bottle of good portuguese wine. For safety reasons, a fire extinguisher is installed in the kitchen, and also a first-aid kit in the bathroom.
The apartment is totally renewed, located in Mouraria / Martim Moniz, historical center of town, one of the most historical and multicultural places of Lisbon, where “FADO" was born, around 1820, at Rua do Capelão (the most well-known and internationally recognized “fadista" MARIZA was born in Mouraria, in a pink house at Travessa dos Lagares). Mouraria is a very safe area, known for its history, old traditions, multicultural people mixed with locals, with lots of great restaurants with Portuguese traditional food, African food (Portuguese ex-colonies) and Asian food, as well as activities like live music at Largo do Intendente square or food fairs at Praça da Figueira. You're in a walking distance (10 min.) to the Castle, the Cathedral (Sé), Alfama, Graça amazing viewpoints (5 min.), Baixa-Chiado, Tagus River (15 min), and many more attractions! The famous 28 Tram very first stop is located just 1 minute walking from the apartment, at Martim Moniz square, and the first stop of the 15E Tram that goes to Belém is a 5 minutes walk. Public paid parking lots are available in the neighborhood. There are plent PARKING OPTIONS: Given its location in the historical center, only residents can park in the neighborhood. The street is also very narrow so not possible to stop the car. However, there are paid parking options just a few minutes away from the flat. The closest one is at Martim Moniz (1 minute - 30 a day) and the other, cheaper, is called Parque do Chão do Loureiro (5 minutes away - 20 a day). How to get to the flat: If you're coming from the airport, avoid Taxis. Some will try to overcharge you. Take a Uber instead: go to the Departures Gate to get one. By Metro, take the red line and change at ALAMEDA to the green line (direction CAIS DO SODRÉ - MARTIM MONIZ STOP.
