Chambre spacieuse,magnifique vue sur la mer,proximité de tout. Ménage approximatif.Personnel travaillant en dillettante,buffet petit-déjeuner constitué de nourriture industrielle.Personnel de la piscine insolent avec les clients et de surcroit paresseux. |

Une situation exceptionnelle pour un hotel de charme et de luxe où la notion de service atteint l'excellence. La nourriture y est execllente et le buffet du petit déjeuner est remarquable. Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse et à votre écoute. Pas assez ou peu de place dans le mini-bus de l'Hotel souvent complet pour se rendre dans centre ville. Difficile de s'y rendre à pied vu la distance (minimum 20-30 min à pied). La moyenne d'age et la fréquentation de l'hôtel reste néanmoins assez agée (> 50 ans). |

Everything...Food buffets were absolutley fantastic. Breakfast and Dinner were terrific.. Everything you could want. Salad Fish meat to start soup 5 0r 6 choices for main with ver and loads of everything. Pudding to die for at least 12 choices and cheese and biscouts Rooms were fantastic waiters were wonderful and could not do enough for us. In fact we had been once before and will be going back soon. |

great cliff top location - close to town - excellent gallo restaurant - music every night bar prices too steep - 7 euros for a single local brandy is outrageous - the bar is poorly patronised - cut the prices and get more in |

Although full, you would not have realised it - there was so much space - at times you felt you had it all to yourself. The staff were always available and helpful, but never intrusive. I'd like it to be cheaper so that I could afford to go back more often! |

The setting was beautiful, the room was large and we had a view of the ocean from the balcony. The restaurants were good but pricy. The hotel is trying to be a timeshare and we were invited to events that were associated with that although it was not disclosed in the invitation, we chose not to go. The beds were very firm, not comfortable. The clientele was a little more mature than we would have liked. We enjoy this type of resort but with a little less formality. |

The location, the facilities and service in general are of very high standard. Likewise, the food (buffet) was a delight. We consider the prices for food and drinks on the high side. |

We were told there was no room (even though we had the Booking.com confirmation) and so the only room they could find was the Presidential Suite. What a treat. The trip of a lifetime! |

The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the center and the old district of Funchal while you enjoy the scenery and the variety of restaurants and shops. The design of the hotel marvelously combines ocean and rock essentials. The pillows were uncomfortable. |

Las habitaciones son muy amplias, la piscina está al borde del mar y el bar de la piscina es muy agradable. Se puede ir a Funchal dando un paseo. Necesitaría alguna pequeña reforma |
