Located just 330 yards from Falésia Beach, this luxurious resort offers a natural, sandy beach pool and a floating restaurant. The rooms have balconies with stunning views of the surroundings. Guests of the Lake Resort can reach their accommodations through the lobby, which is covered by a 46 ft, Moorish-style dome. The rooms are spacious and have sliding doors that lead to the private bathrooms. Lake Resort offers 3 restaurants, 2 bars and a library full of books and magazines. While guests relax in the spa area, children will be entertained for hours with the activities of the Koala Kids Club. Booked the lake resort with my wedding planner,Paula from Algarve wedding planners,don't know where to start my wedding was the 22nd of July it was just perfection like a Fairytale from start to finish.Paula worked with victor the co ordinator in the lake resort.THe food was superb from start to finish.we had our reception in the floating restaurant it was amazing the room and atmosphere was so romantic ,I am so glad I choose the lake resort and cannot recommend it enough.hope to return for our 1st anniversary.a big thank you to everyone including Paula and victor and staff.Susan xxxx

Wow!!! We stayed at The Lake Resort from 16-19th May. On entering the reception, we knew we had made the right choice, beautiful marble entrance, impressive! The room was beautiful, lovely comfy pillows and quilt, bathrobes and slippers awaited us. There were some English speaking channels, Fox and bbc 1 which was great instead of some hotels which only have news channels. The pools in the spa were amazing and the sunloungers and Cabana's outside were so comfortable. They had left a bottle of Prosecco and Strawberries in our room for us, and it was our anniversary and they had a cake for us at the end of our meal as a surprise! If you are going to Vilamoura, stay here!!! Wonderful! We thought everything was wonderful, we're used to staying in 5 star hotels and so often they don't even meet expectations except this place... Nothing bad to say.. I could go on and on!

Really nice hotel probably a very good 4 star but as with most beach/resort hotels just falls short of 5 star for me . No pool side service and you had to sort your own sunbed mattresses and collect towels . Nice pool bar/restaurant where service was good . Early season and not that busy so no problems getting sunbeds which where all good quality . Good comfortable rooms but small for 5 star the upgrade to panoramic sea view was worth the extra . Location good just a short walk to the marina . No major issues , nothing that would stop me staying there again .

We were three couples staying for 3 days just to relax. Everyone was very impressed with the hotel and the service. The hotel is perfectly located at the end of the Vilamoura port. There are many restaurants in the area with very good quality food. We will be back for sure.

The spa, the good reception, the employee training and attitude and the hotel facities The Fusion Restaurant. The menu is disconnected from portuguese culture and does not meet international requirements for choices. It may fit in downtown Manhattan but not in Algarve.

Staff were top class, probably the best ive ever experienced. Not in your face friendly, just right!! THe hotel was one of the finest ive stayed in world wide and will come hugely recommended by me, just like it was recommended to me by my best friend.

Have to say we had an amazing time and we were sad to go home. Would and will recommend the lake resort to everyone if they are looking for that ultimate chilled holiday. Staff and facilities were superb. We will be back!

An excellent hotel just 5 minutes from gorgeous beaches and marinas. Good quality food. A very relaxing hotel with excellent pool area Our only slight negative would be the temperature of the outside pools. It really was like swimming in ice. They do heat one during the season, but really could do with heating whenever there are guests there

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at the Lake Resort. I couldn't speak highly enough of the hotel. The staff, service, facilities and food were all first class. The lake Resort is ideally situated for both marina and beach. We shall definitely return.

The lake resort is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. We loved our stay from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.the only small fault is that we would have loved to dine in the floating restaurant.the spa facilties and staff are first class.they are so professional.the breakfast was excellent with a fantastic choice and the staff kept the tables so clean and service from them was so efficient.thankyou for the lovely chocolate that we got every day.well done to the staff who kept our room so beautifully clean.the reception staff were very very helpful at all times. Well done to everyone.

We enjoyed everything about the Lake Resort hotel. The staff were all great, the facilities as we would expect from a 5-star hotel, and the location (on the edge of Vilamoura) suited us perfectly. It's a short walk to the main resort, but away from the noise and bustle of the centre. The spa was wonderful, and free WiFi in the rooms was useful. The Fusion restaurant was excellent - top quality food - but if you want variety then there are a whole load of different restaurants to chose from in the main resort not far away.

Loved every aspect of The Lake Resort. Nicest hotel we have stayed in in Vilamoura, pure luxury. Was hoping to use the gym and spa facilities which appeared excellent, but the weather was so good we didn't get chance. If anyone is planning to mark a special occasion by a week in Portugal, get this booked, you'll not regret it x

We had a great time at the Lake Resort. (Free upgrade to sea view room) Our 16 month loved the sand pool and the double sun-beds were great. Also, the Koala Club was a welcome addition. The breakfast was more than you could wish for and the staff were always polite. We were outside of the peak season so we guess this helped as the hotel was not to busy, but we would highly recommend it to anyone. We have never returned to the same hotel in any country before but we will definitely be back to the Lake Resort!!!!
