Travellers House - Hostel

Everything! From the staff working there ( specially Juergen ) to the free breakfast, to the cleanliness, to the cool daily activities and location!!!!!!! We will for sure come back to this hostel

The staff was extremely helpful and provided many options for enjoying the city and wider area. The Sintra/coastal trip was especially nice.

Best hostel I have stayed in thus far, all-rounded excellent performance especially considering price paid + Very friendly & helpful staff with insider tips + Good & cheap tours organized + Fantastic (cooked) breakfast + Spacious private rooms bigger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in + Nice decor

Minor issues - Lack of a lift to access upper floors, but the staff are very helpful with heavy luggage - Not enough toilet & shower cubicles in shared toilet for each floor

really enjoyed the stay in travellers house, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms basic but really clean , free breakfast a bonus and price of hostel very reasonable. excellent location in the heart of things and near transport links

Excellent location, very nice staff (maybe even too attentive sometimes), soft beds, lockers provided. Also I would say that stay at this hostel is better for those who want to socialize a bit more - there are daily activities, and a lot of movement in the common area

The common area seemed a little worn out. As it is in the old building, the floor was a bit creaky, which was not nice at night

I really like the service and the hostel is just great!

They should have some tables in the bathroom to hang staff when you shower...but this is just a suggestion!

The staff at the hostel were so friendly and helpful. They were amazing when the hostel's boiler was broken and I could only have cold water showers. They tried their hardest to get it fixed as soon as possible and even gave me a night's free accomodation when they couldn't. The staff really were the highlight of the hostel and if I was coming back to visit Lisbon in the future I would stay here just for the service.

Two boilers at the hostel broke down the two nights I was staying there so I had to have cold showers both days, I guess that's not the hostel's fault though.

It's the best hostel I've ever hosted. Amazing!

Clean, comfortable, relaxed.

The hostel provides a good structure and it is very well located.

The staff are friendly - Gui (I think that how his name is spelt) he did a great job in welcoming new guests. I stayed in the double room, it was nice - the toilet and bathroom was shared. Breakfast a choice of eggs on toast or pancakes, cereals, coffee/ tea - was good but no great.

I went for the Sintra day tour that they organized, part of the tour was to visit a shop in Sintra selling Ginjinha (local cherry liquor) and an ice cream shop, I thought those were unnecessary stops as you get them everywhere in Lisboa. Both stops took at least 2 h. Those time could be much better spent admiring the beauty and mystical castles in Sintra. for 25 euros I expect more time for sightseeing, I do believe that they (hostel) do get some form of reward from shop owners for bringing tourists there. It's great if you just to get an overview of Sintra in one day, honestly if you have more time I would recommend to find an accommodation in Sintra and spend a night or two there plenty to see.

Everything was great!

Myself and my wife (in our 30s) booked a private room. It's a hostel but the private room was clean and modern with an excellent central location.

Hostel name (on the door) was small and hard to see, no major problem though.

The best hostel ever.

There aren't jacuzzi in rooms))

Le dortoir de 6 pers. est très agréable. Le petit dej est canon, on a le choix entre pancakes ou omelette/bacon=> servi à table! C'est une super ambiance, le personnel de l'hostel est très serviable et cool: Guy et Jaio donnent plein de bons conseils.

L'accueil et la disponibilité du personnel, les services et activités proposées (petits déjeuners, sorties, locations de segways...)

La atención del personal, fueron muy cordiales conmigo y realmente me sentí como en casa.

El precio me pareció un poco alto comparado con los otros hostels de Lisboa.

夜晚街道有打扫卫生的，稍微有点吵。

понравилось все - местоположение,дружелюбный персонал, сытный завтрак, просторные комнаты,удобные кровати,большие локеры в комнате для чемоданов и всех вещей. не надо переживать,что вещи останутся без присмотра.
