You know Thatcher when you sleep at the streetsite it can be more noisy; nut no problem for us

For the reasonable price I paid via booking, the room was really big and comfortable and quiet (view on backyard). Also the rest of the hotel is cosy and inviting, nice terrace in the back - things you do not imagine due to its location at noisy street in Anjos.

No fresh fruit at breakfast (only ananas from tin).

Close to Anjos underground station. Clean rooms. No problems with comunication at the reception desk (very helpful).

Good location close to the Anjos metro station (direct line to Rossio and Baixa-Chiado). Hotel's own underground car parking was a great asset to us. A discount supermarket can be found in the nearby back street after a little search. Easier to spot were a laundromat and shops with tasty fruits.

Just typical: mediocre wi-fi performance and not typical: that awkward moments of complete darkness on the corridor before the movement sensor turns on the lights.

This is a good hotel for its categorie: rooms are clean and confortable and with a reasonable size. Breakfast is good, although I would like to see real hot milk (not the one you get from the coffee machine) and a smaller size coffee option.

Hotel is located in a not so good neighbourhood, especially to walk out at night; there is an underground station quite close to the hotel though.

The neighborhood is more "dollar store" clientele rather high end tourists... Why cost is so reasonable in comparison to other touristic neighborhoods....but totally safe.

The neighbourhood did not seem nice to walk out in the night. This may not be a problem if you use the underground or a taxi though.

One of the receptionists (younger man with a beard) was directly awkward and unfriendly. Was difficult to contact, did'n greet and looked down. He should not be employed by a reception and have customer care. All other employees were nice and very helpful.

Beautiful spacious room, hardwood floors, spacious stone vanity around the sink, clean bathroom. One of the best breakfasts with a variety of breads, eggs, sausage, bacon, crepes, fruits, cheese, meat, cereal, yoghurt, and an attentive waiter-dude to keep it all neat and orderly. Located over the metro station Anjos, so it's just a minute to the metro. Place to wash clothes (lavanderia) 1 minute from hotel.

The neighborhood isn't interesting from a tourist perspective, so you'll have to travel to see the sites or eat. The road was noisy with traffic. The Wifi Internet sucks; constantly needing to log-in thru their website, waiting for pages to load, then crap out, even tho my computer says I'm getting good signal.

Very good staff. Excellent value for the money. Only downside is the 20 min. Walk to town - fortunately there is a metro 50 metres away from the hotel so it is no real problem. You will not be dissapointed with this hotel.

Everything was OK to some extent exept the carpet. It was too old, dirty and full of spots. Actually I couldn'd find any sleepers in the room.

The price was okay compared to other hotels and what they offered. I was living before at Hotel Mundial, which it was much more expensive but the service was not so good at all, much bureaucratic, no free wi-fi (had to pay around 15 eur more for the internet). It was free internet in this hotel and the breakfast was reasonable.

Too much noise due to the cars in the main avenue because we got a room on the 2nd floor on that side of the street. I asked at the reception but they couldnt change the room.

The hotel it self was nice. The breakfast was excellent value.

Our room was a little run down with badly stained carpet. We booked a double and we got two single beds pushed together. The view from our room was nice. We could just see another hotel. We seemed far from the center and the location seemed a little run down.
