Amongst the various sports and leisure facilities, the Tivoli Almansor hotel has a Diving Centre, which will help you explore the magical underwater world, with the two special packages:

This hotel is located in the most beautiful area of the Algarve coast.
In Carvoeiro you can find traces of what the Algarve was like several decades ago, and of course you can enjoy yourself in the many restaurants and bars.
The Varanda Restaurant is located on the 5th floor, and enjoys a superb view over the sea. Its à la carte service is specialised in Portuguese and international cuisine, and is renowned for the quality and variety of the dishes.

PÁTEO RESTAURANT
Our delicious American breakfast buffet is served in this restaurant. It is decorated in soft Mediterranean colours and has an formal atmosphere. It is also the place where we occasionally serve the buffet dinner for those staying on half board basis. The restaurant seats up to 250 people.
Opening hours:
7.30a.m. to 10.30a.m. (breakfast buffet) and 6.45p.m. to 9.30p.m. (occasional dinner buffet)
PALMEIRA COFFEE SHOP
Ideally located near the swimming pool, the Palmeira Coffee-Shop is the perfect place for a quick snack or a light meal.
Opening hours: 11.00a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Located 350 metres from the hotel, Carvoeiro overlooks the sea and is surrounded by a magnificent rocky coastline. Carvoeiro's main church, which stems from the 16th century, was built in in true Manueline style.
Lagoa:
São José Convent is an 18th century building with a chapel boasting a gilt wood-carved altar. At the door, the old revolving panel used to receive unwanted babies. The convent now hosts a variety of events and exhibitions.
Lagoa's main church, a 16th century building, of which only a Manueline doorway exists, was rebuilt towards the end of the 18Ith century. Note the elegant baroque façade and neoclassical influence.
Vila de Porches:
Famous for its ceramics and pottery, this is where you can actually watch the pieces being made and painted.
Slide and Splash:
Considered one of Europe's best water parks, this is located a few minutes away from Lagoa, Praia do Carvoeiro, Portimão and Praia da Rocha and has fun and games for all the family.

a relaxing time the hotel didnt have a evening buffet like other years i stayed.i had one meal at night and was very dissapointed.the steak was very tough and little side salad.and the cost,expensive.i felt the "personal touch"not there this time,pity,as the hotel and staff are lovely. |

Third visit to this hotel with excellent location, service and facilities. Just a short walk into town or bigger adventures along the cliff tops or beautiful beaches near by.Alternatively just relax in the hotels garden, swimming pools or gym. |

We liked the location and the view from our room. The free access to the internet was very useful The facilities were not as advertised. There was no coffee shop open next to unheated oudoor pool. we did not expect this pool to be heated , but the indoor pool which was claimed to be at 29 degrees C was also not heated. The Gym is very poor in a small room with 4 pieces of equipement one of which did not work |

The private sea view is excellent. The buffet breakfast will last you all day. Its just a short walk into the town with a varied choice of Bars and Restaurants. Overall It just looks a little tired. The bedroom doors are very nosiy when Clients just let them slam. |

I thought the views were amazing and even though the hotel was busy, it was totally relaxing and amazingly quiet on your balcony or beside pool. Defintely a place to go to get away from it all and relax.Attended a wedding there and it was so well organised, everybody had a brilliant day. The only issue I would have with the hotel is that it does not cater for one person staying ie I had to pay for a twin room. |

Vriendelijk personeel Properheid, op de kamer wandlamp met spin/stof-rag van zeker meerdere maanden. Na de cleaning hierop gewezen te hebben is dit schoongemaakt. Viezigheid op de gang begane grond, waar ik meerdere keren per dag langs moest naar de duikschool, is de hele week blijven liggen terwijl ik op de eerste dag heb waargenomen dat personeel hier notitie van maakte. Properheid dus voor mij een onvoldoende. Door de aanbieding was de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding prima maar de originele prijs was het mij zeker niet waard geweest. |
