It has a very good location, near Liberdade Avenue, with good structure and reasonable prices

The only problem: there isn't free wifi internet access.

Wifi at 15€ per day is inacceptable Parking is also expensive but we had our car window broken during the night when parking it in the street. Think about it !

penny pinching for every extra; if it's luxury, include the internet and breakfast... felt unappreciated.

Overall the hotel was good. Although you can definitely find better ones for the same price. The only thing that gave the place an edge was the outdoor pool. But if you're only staying for a few days, you're better off exploring the city instead of hanging by the pool.

I agree with all the previous posts regarding the design of the bathroom. It's a joke. If you're of normal height, you won't be able to sit straight on the toilet seat. The shower has no "soap/schampoo holders" which is pretty annoying etc. All in all, this is not a bad hotel. But there are quite a few annoyances which should not exist at a four star establishment.

Stylish but not snooty. Excellent breakfast and a lovely pool area. Location was good: in a quiet side street off a major street, handy to walk to Bairro Alto and Chiado and for links around the rest of the city.

Very good location and clean rooms with designer-like interior

No wireless internet - unless you want to pay 5 Euros for 60minutes, for a four-star hotel a real shame only two computers with internet for a few hundred rooms next to the reception very loud air condition and sitting on the balkon is like sitting next to a highway because of the big air conditions in front of the hotel black interior, you can see dust everywhere and everyday

Fantastic circular pool in a garden with a bar, with loungers and towels. Staff are very considerate. We were upgraded to a superior room with a balcony. Heart of Lisbon is only 10 minutes walk away. Avenida Metro stop is outside the hotel. Very comfortable room.

In our bathroom the Shower (a brilliant rain shower) is over the bath and was a bit tricky to get out of, so if you find that difficult you should ask for a different room. Otherwise there is nothing to dislike about our stay.

We particularly liked the style / design of the hotel, including that of our room and the breakfast room, as well as the swimming pool and its fairly central location. The hotel staff were most helpful and went out of their way to make up with the problem we had on arrival (see below).

Upon arrival we were told that a delegation had extended their stay and they did not have a room for us for our first night (of 3) at the hotel. They had arranged for us to stay at a nearby 5* hotel. We spent our first night at the alternative hotel before returning to Tivoli Jardim for the next 2 nights.

I think you need free wifi in the foyer area at least! Also, when we arrived we were put in a double room w cot rather than a twin share plus cot as booked (even though we also included a note to confirm three beds were needed) The room was changed to one where the door to the balcpny would not open an the bar fridge was not working. However once these problems were fixed we had a good stay. The pool is nice (though small).

Room was very nice, and so was the pool area.

The food in the pool area was overpriced. The quality was ok everything was extremely uninspirering. A sandwich made with borring white bread with a tiny bit of tuna salat and 1/4 avokado should cost 13 euro. I would gladly pay that for a good sandwich, but this made no sense. We got a room on the 1st floor with a balcony with views over the parking lot and parkway for the restaurants below. It was not particualar interresting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tivoli Jardim. The hotel is well situated near Avenida da Liberdade, very close to public transport. The staff at the reception and in the dining area were very helpful and extremely friendly. We booked a superior room with balcony, a brightly decorated room with a good view, a fantastic doublebed and a stylish bathroom. Behind the hotel there is a peaceful and quiet pool area set amidst a wonderful vegetation, a lovely place to relax after long city walks. Buffet breakfast is excellent and the Restaurant Olivier serves delicious food and superb wines in a cosy candlelight atmosphere.
