Superior room was larger than standard room but not as well furnished and in a separate block which seemed inferior to rest of hotel. We had asked (in advance) for South facing room but were givenNorth facing. Staff helpfully tried to find suitable room but rooms with sunny terrace did not seem to exist. We therefore checked out after one night (pre-booked for 13 nights)

Exception value for money.We stay here in January for golf in the low season. The hoel is very comfortable and the indoor pool is a great asset.The location is within 10-15 minutes walk of a number of restaurants. The hotel offers a golf booking service which does does arrange some good discounts.

The games room does require some form of heating.

We have stayed there last January, and this time found more people there, which made it not like a empty Hotel. Bus/train very near, market/shops within walking distance. 3 for 2 meal deal great as at this time of year, many Resturants closed. Beach area open, so we could relax and enjoy the sun also at the Hotel. Main concern was that we were not able to use our Computer in the bedroom, back links, so had to go to reception, and being only 2 computer, was always busy..... Think they need more, sure in the summer no one can get on at alllllll. But Great Hotel and LAGOS GREAT !!!!

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff

Bed - two single beds for my wife and myself was unacceptable. Room was outdated. TV really needs replacing with a flat wide screen. Layout of hotel is very complex.

Good quality hotel, comfortable, convenient location, good buffet breakfast (quality of the latter didn't suffer even though there were far fewer guests than on our previous visit). No hesitation in recommending the place.

The hotel in general and the room was spotlessly clean and the staff were both friendly and extremely efficient. The buffet breakfast was excellent - everything you can imagine and lots of it !! The hotel is very well placed as well - just a short walk into the main area of the town for shops and restaurants and plenty of choice when you get there. We would certainly go again.

One small problem, and I know we're not the first to pick up on it, the beds are really not good. Unbelievably noisy for some reason and very hard. We did overcome this to a degree by putting blankets underneath the bottom sheet. It didn't spoil our stay I must say, but we didn't sleep very well.

The Hotel is located in the city centre and is good value for money in the off season . They had a selection of English Books in a small library and a good Games Room .

The TV´s are very old and much too small . They should update them to lcd TV´s , if they want to be a real 4 Star Hotel . The Light Bulbs are a major problem as they are very dim and there is no central light in the Bedroom . However the Light Bulbs are the stupid European Union Energy Saver type --which is not the fault of the Hotel , so when I changed them to the normal kind , there was finally enough light to read .

Comfort and service excellent.Excellent buffet breakfast and al-carte dining. Various lounge arrangments for watching. Tv,reading.games room and computer access or quiet area well provided. Rooms clean and comfortable with good heating (november). Staff helpful and cheerie.

Our room was nice but unfortunately there was a lingering smell which we thinkcame from the air conditioning. It was a very musty smell. It was so strong it permeated our clothes and bag so we brought the smell home with us!
