Tivoli Palácio de Seteais  

The hotel was one of the most luxurious and beautiful places I have ever been to in the world. I have traveled rather extensively and have seen castles, palace, and luxury properties in the Loire Valley - none compared to this Tivoli in Sentra. It was extraordinary for several reasons. First, sheer elegance exuded from every inch of the beautiful understated entry lobby, the gentleman greeting us at the door, the lush landscaped grounds, the beautiful artwork, furniture, the overall ambience - -was beyond imagination. I felt like a Princess living the life of the very very wealthy. the service standards were also superb. I was very impressed with the way the palace was restored and maintained. It looked as if it was build five years ago, not hundreds of years ago. The price for our stay was very reasonable - - -. I will highly recommend this property to friends visiting Portugal, and encourage my friends to visit this amazing country.

Larger bathrooms would make our stay more comfortable. They also tended to become very hot after 10 minutes. Otherwise, the hotel was as close to perfect as one can get!

The warm and efficient service of the staff and the marvelous garden, location and design of the hotel.

The lunch was overpriced and service disappointing. Breakfast was marvellous, but the poor lunch on my arrival discouraged me from taking dinner at the hotel. This was a pity because during my last visit, the lunch was excellent. The setting on the terrace is beautiful. Management needs to take a look at the quality of food (fish soup was awful), service (very slow), and the unhelpful nature of lunch time staff, which was at complete odds with the rest of the hotel service.

Fabolous! It is worth a trip to Portugal just to stay in this hotel!

If you get a special rate (like us) or can otherwise afford it - that's a great experience. Had bsolutely a great time amd have only warm words about the place.

Amazing facilities, feels like living in a palace! All the public rooms (restaurant etc) were extraordinary Very friendly and helpful staff Luxury room with a fantastic terrace!

Dont usually stick on details but I need to comment that the bed side wasnt actually double. When u pay 160e per night you should be able to enjoy a big bed! Room temperature kind of low. I needed to call the staff to raise the temp above 23 c, during winter period

There is no soul in this hotel. It's a beautiful but boring hotel. It's a rather unpersonal hotel. The staff is very unpersonal. The other hotels we did in and around Lisboa had a much better trained and extremely friendly staff. On top of that: in Sintra they have a "microclimate" that worked well for the kings and aristocracy in the 17° and 18° century who suffered the 45°c in full summer in Lisbon and looked for a colder climate in the mountains to cool down, but this doesn't work for tourists who come to enjoy the sun of Portugal for a few days! We were so surprised to have a wonderful and sunny 27° c in Lisbon and felt "cold" upon arrival in cloudy Sintra only 30kms away! And the sunny side of the hotel (if the sun is finally there) is at the front of the hotel and there is not even one bench or chair to have a seat there.

Понравилось, буквально, всё! Фантастический сад, номер - небольшой, но очень уютный и романтичный. Огромная терасса с обзором на главные достопримечательности Синтры. Чистейший воздух. Большой выбор блюд на завтрак. По вечерам живая музыка - рояль.

O local e' maravilhoso, a vista e' fantastica, as acomodacoes e os servicos excelentes. Todo mundo merecia passar pelo menos 1 dia neste hotel.
