Uma Casa à Beira Sol  

staffs were very helpful. the studio we stayed was spacious, clean and decorated with old portuguese style. the room is equiped with everything you need. located near the beatiful beaches. it is worth trying the breakfast. i'll definately stay there again!! 진짜 이쁘고 좋아요!! 후회 없으실 거에요~!

Think you want to travel for the first time in a famous place as Algarve. You might be afraid to find crowded places and noisy hotels. Well if you plan reasonably your holiday out of the very pick season, you can still find a little heaven: a lovely family run property, original in its design, simple but with style, with all main comforts and facilities, walking distance to the most beautiful beaches and quiet of a residential area. We could simply find this in Teresa and her family friendlyness who provided us with a larger room for the same price. We could use the pool area to eat under the sun at open air, the walking distance to nice restaurant and wonderful beaches allowed us to enjoy our stay with our little baby without using the car. All in all, I advice to have this experience to anyone who loves nature and quiet.

All was perfect for us. If you are a demanding guest you may complain about the little parking availability (but there is a bigger one just behind the corner) or about the fact that the town is a bit far (in the day we walked with our baby and the stroller, it takes 15 min), in the evening we used the car.Or finally, someone could not appreciate that a couple of old unfinished buildings sorrounds the area, which in my view are expecting to be demolished, but you will soon forget about it. If you have any doubt, I advice to locate the place through google map and click on some pictures of the area, simply wonderful views from the sunrise to the sunset!

What can you say about a beira sol, its rustic, its beautiful, its supprising, its a maze of nooks and crany's, no room or apartment is the same or has the same outlook, its friendly, its quiet. its not a hotel its a beautiful rustic b&b on the edge of lagos. it has its little faults but you will not find many gems like this place for a holiday base. great little pool. plants and flowers everywhere. you may not want to pay 10 euros each for breakfast so go to the supermarket. the apartments have kitchenete, (check with owners re rooms facilities ) the local beach ANA is about 500mts, its fantastic.you can walk into Lagos 15 to 20 mins. there is a little Portugese resteruant called paraiso just past sofa shop on left in new development serves great food.

The room was large but the lighting was terrible. The room was at the back of the hotel, on the ground floor and there was little privacy. Really liked the small patio just outside the door.

In the bathroom, while seated on the toilet, your legs go under the sink! The lighting fixtures were inadequate.

Very warm and relaxed welcome (no form filling, just refreshments on the terrace!), stylish and comfortable room, beautiful gardens and delicious, varied breakfast. It is tucked away in a peaceful setting, with a cosy atmosphere; some of the rooms/apartments are quite close together, so you do depend on other guests being considerate, but it seems the kind of place where that is a fairly safe bet. It's near at least one beach (walking distance, albeit involving a bit of an ascent on the way back) and some beautiful coastal scenery, which can be seen from the nearby cliffs. Teresa & staff made us feel very welcome and were discreetly attentive (and Teresa spoke good English, as unfortunately we hadn't had time to learn much Portuguese before we went). We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Some people may not like that the accommodation isn't right in the centre of town, and up a bit of a hill, although we enjoyed the stroll to town which I think took no more than 15 mins (and there are some restaurants quite nearby, and a Spar supermarket halfway into town). It is also next to an apartment complex, which may get busy in peak season, but just guessing (it was very quiet when we were there at the end of March). There is a blot on the landscape nearby, in the form of a big concrete shell of an unfinished hotel (but you don't see it from Uma Casa, only from the road when you're coming or going). Our room had a radiator, which I think is controlled centrally, although I suppose it might be switched on on request (we didn't have to ask - it was on low on one of the cooler nights we stayed). Really can't think of much to complain about!

Accueil, charme de l'hotel, localisation. Magnifique étape dans notre voyage.

El maravilloso entorno que rodea la casa. Un jardín de sueño y una calma incomparable.

Sehr geschmackvoll und originell ist das große Romantikzimmer mit seinem kreisrunden Bett, den Fenstern rundherum und der schönen Terrasse. Überhaupt ist die gesamte Anlage ein Pflanzenparadies und dazu noch perfekt und superruhig gelegen. Die tollsten Strände und Klippen sind zu Fuß erreichbar (!), ebenso die angenehme Stadt Lagos. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt das sehr gute Frühstück mit viel frischem Obst und vor allem die supernetten Damen in der Reception und im Service.

Der Internet-Zugang ist zwar frei, hat aber entweder gar nicht oder nur sehr langsam funktioniert. Wenn erforderlich, helfen aber die netten Damen im office mit großer Freundlichkeit weiter!

J'ai tout adoré! Le jardin magnifique, le petit déjeuner frais, délicieux et préparé à la demande, servi sur la terrasse individuelle à l'heure qu'il nous plait. Le personnel est très serviable et souriant, toujours prêt à rendre service et la responsable du lieu est drôle et attachante. C'est plus une maison d'hôte qu'un hôtel, chaque chambre a sa terrasse et salon de jardin privée, piscine à disposition, le tout dans un décor superbe (jardin arboré, fleuri...). Uma Casa a Beira Sol est situé près des plages et falaises, belles balades à faire. Je conseille le restaurant O'Camilho au bord de la plage, spécialités de poissons, délicieux à des prix raisonnables.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit hübsch eingerichteten Zimmern

Sehr freundliche Angestellte, sehr nette, geschachtelte, kleine Hotelzimmer/ Apartments mit Kochnische und sehr stilvoller Einrichtung, man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Weitere Renovationsarbeiten werden dieses Jahr durchgeführt, sind jedoch nicht zwingend.

WiFi funktioniert nicht zuverlässig.

Configuarzione dell'hotel , che all'origine, doveva essere molto bello. Lo è ancora ma mostra evidenti segni di decadenza da mancata manutenzione

Definizione corretta = decaduto. Bagni poco funzionanti , scrostati , vecchi, anche se puliti.
