Location Originality Facilities Helpful, friendly staff Dynamic
Booked a private room, arrived and got a key to a... shared dormitory. The staff refused to acknowledge my booking confirmation clearly stated "private room" and not "bed". Horrid, you book one thing and you get something of an inferior quality for the same price. I definitely do NOT recommend this place.
The reception staff are very good and attentive. Managed to check in straight away - arrived 13:00. Very happy with the location and the local shops/ services. Room clean with lockers and everything you need. Lounge area, internet room, and breakfast area is very large and good selection of food. Very happy I stayed here.
Helpful and friendly staff, The hostel is babies-friendly (baby crib available on request), Kitchen available - possibility of cooking. (Really good choice for cuisine-lovers who like preparing meals from local products). Location is great: there are 3 metro stations (of 3 different metro lines) in the neighborhood or close to "Praça de Espanha" where you can find buses to get beautiful beaches.
I haven't found so many drawbacks. All things below are rather suggestions of little improvements. A kitchen could be better equipped (finding a cooking knife was difficult); Payment only by cash. Deposits for towels and keys are required.
Very clean and the staff was very friendly. Really enjoyed the whole week there. Very good location near metro and bus stop.
Wifi not working well sometimes. Most of the times it was nice.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff, secure rooms, decent breakfast, 24-hour reception and common room facilities, close to supermarket, metro, 744 airport bus route and not too far to walk into the city.
Everything was good for the price. Pillows a bit unsubstantial.
clean rooms cheap friendly staff common areas was good close to the supermarket and metro station
breakfast wasn't that good there was no soap in the toilets
Always clean Spacy rooms Separate shower and wc in dorms Location near the metro station
Far from city centre No parties inside No chillout area More suitable for business travellers or young families than for individual adventurers
The staff was friendly, and all the rooms were clean. Everybody had an own locker which is great. Breakfast was okay.
Because of it's big size and spartanic interior design the place doesn't feel too cozy, and it definitely doesn't make you want to hang around.
Breakfast was barely to eat, only cheapest products. Often happens that you get stuck in the elevator
+friendly staff +quite big twin room + equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and cutlery + 3 metro stations nearby + pingo doce (supermarket) two steps from the hostel
- lack of furniture - very small bathroom - noise spread through the wall - ugly balcony - everything you may get after payment of returnable deposit (5eur keys, towels, ac remote) - additional fee for AC - no tv/radio - slow wifi internet
Location is Ok, but the facility is just so so.
Good kitchen, nice staff, close to metro station, clean
Uncomfortable beds and unpractical shower
It was a nice hostel with quite good breakfast included. The hostel is quite hard to find, but is really close to metro station and a walking distance from Avenida da Liberdade. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The reception is also open 24h, so there are no problems. There is a good parking Empark Marquesh the Pombal (3 minutes walk) for 4EUR/day.
No parking space. Only public parking next to the hostel.
It was convenient that the staff were there for 24 hours and they were friendly and helpful. The location was more or less central and a short walk from the Metro. The price was good and we feel we got value for our money. We enjoyed our stay.
It would be nice to have a kettle for use at any time in the kitchen. The shower had a little bit of mildew that needs to be seen to.
The location was good. A 25 minute walk to/from Principe Real/Barro Alto area if the Metro is closed also not an expensive cab ride. Quiet area close to 2 Metro stations with one direct line from the airport.
Friendly staff, close to a couple of metro stations and also within walking distance to the start off points for the city tour buses. Overall good value for money.
The beds were a bit hard but its cheap so expected.
It's simple, but it's good. Nothing to complain, except the fact they don't accept credit cards. Wi-fi works fine and towels are not charged (just a deposit, but money given back when you check-out).
Location isn't very good. It's near from the metro station but 30 minutes walk from the down town.
-AC -Polite and helpfull staff
Distance to city centre, not a problem during daytime but at night it is
Very helpful staff, good breakfast, clean facility, a grocery store and post office 1 block away, easy access to public transportation.
We stayed just oné short night, but everything ok, no problém to check-in after midnight, everything clean
It's clean and in a good location.
The room was very small. There was no warm water to wash your hands in the bathroom and you can't seat in the toilet because there is no place for your legs! Breakfast is poor. You have to pay caution for towels, keys, AC remote.
the location is really good!
the kitchen is sometime a mess
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good showers and very fast internet on the 1st floor! Great that there is a supermarket nearby as well!
Lift wasn't working and breakfast was very basic...even for hostel standards.
The recepcionists fullfill your room until you cant breed with All the rooms completly empty thats very strange for me.
