Only a 10 minute walk to an excellent beach with several small restaurants. 20 minute walk, mostly pedestrianised, to much busier Praia de Rocha with a wide range of restaurants. Ideal if you prefer a quieter area of the Algarve. Hotel is at the lower end of 4* Rating which was relected in room decor and buffet breakfast.

Vau Hotel is situated in a quiter part of the Algarve but within walking distance of Praia da Rocha and nearby Alvor great restaurants. Excellent to rechange and just relax but not for the young and lively.

The rooms have lots of space and besides being a bit old the facilities are okay. It is a good hotel for vacations. Very noisy atmosphere! Loud live music until midnight and people checking-in at 2AM. Not the best option if you have to wake up early. From cleanliness was not okay for a 4star hotel.

Os serviços sao bons, apesar de estarmos em epoca baixa a limpeza de quartos foi efectuada todos os dias. So temos um defeito a apontar, insonorizaçao, ouve-se muito o que se passa nos outros quartos.

A proximidade da praia é o ponto forte do Hotel. As varandas tem boas vistas de paisagem. A piscina é bastante agradável. O serviço de limpeza dos quartos podia ser melhor e realizada na parte da manhã. O buffet de pequeno almoço podia ser mais variado.

Gostei do facto de poder acomodar potencialmente 4 pessoas a um preco muito razoavel e com o apoio de kitchnette. Tive no ultimo dia de mudar de suite porque aquela onde estava ficou com um cheiro insuportavel a esgoto. O empregado disse-me que quando a mare enche isso acontece. Parece-me um risco grande para o hotel, especialmente quando estiver cheio e nao puderem transferir os hospedes.

We zijn nu voor de tweede keer in dit hotel geweest. Ontbijt is prima, alleen moet men nog leren eieren te koken. Voor het overige goed. Diner goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Personeel correct is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en geeft desgevraagd goede adviezen. Service , kleding wassen en strijken, binnen 12 uur tegen redelojke p[rijs weer terug.

Para as enchentes de Agosto no Algarve a zona do Vau e o Vau Hotel ´e um sossego quer para quem procure a Praia, ou passeios pelos arredores.O Vau Hotel apresenta uma qualidade preço òptima,aliado a um serviço de recepção profissional que procura resolver os problemas dos hóspedes.Vou se Deus quiser retornar ao Vau Hotel.

Gostei muito da piscina, pena esta não ser apenas para as pessoas alojadas no hotel. Gostei muito do serviço de limpeza, foi sempre impecável. A simpatia de alguns funcionários ficou um pouco a desejar, deveria ter um serviço de Internet para todos os quartos (wireless), pois o único pc do local estava sempre ocupado.

A piscina é "pequena" para a quantidade de hospedes. Isto porque os hospedes do Clube Praia Vau também podem utilizar esta piscina, ficando a piscina sobre-lotada.

Funcionários atenciosos, excelente área de lazer. Piscina muito boa O café da manhã é bom, no entanto a maquina de café fornece um café não muito bom. Dependendo do horário existe uma dificuldade em estacionar o carro.

“This is our second visit to Baia da Luz, our first in high season. Our first visit was at christmas time and it was very quiet and peaceful. I did'nt hesitate on booking again in summer. We have a family member nearby so the location is ideal. The apartment is superb, layout, condition, cleanliness and user friendliness is first class.
