Un hotel assez luxueux mais impersonnel et gigantesque. Une usine a touriste mais de bonnes porestations pour ceux qui recherchent ce type de residence |

excellent rapport qualité prix, très bon accueil. hôtel situé dans une toute petite ville, agréable mais sans animation. Il est préférable d'avoir une voiture. |

Loved being so near the sea and the village of Santa Cruz is charming. Very good breakfasts. Requested non smoking room and was put in smoking, didn't notice until we had unpacked. Didn't respond to my email requesting airport transfer details. |

The Vila Gale Santa Cruz Hotel is a modern clean effecient hotel that justifies its 4 star rating. The map and directions to get to this hotel are completely wrong on this website. It took us 2 hours and stopping to talk to locals twice to find when in fact it is located on the sea front and so easy to find, not in land as the map suggests |

the view over the bay is wonderful. very kind staff. very good breakfast. 1. bed quite unconfortable. 2. no opportunity to use pool chairs as there are too many people that keep them blocked with their towels while they are away for hours. unfortunately no regulation about that. |

Beautifully decorated, clean, pleasant atmosphere. Good service, excellent breakfast. Close to the airport, a free shuttle bus to Funchal and back several times a day. Situated in a lovely village of Santa Cruz. The airport is very close, and you can't really avoid the noise. We didn't find this a problem, but someone else might. Using the internet is way too expensive. There could also be some more sunbeds. |

Meal times were very extended providing a comfortable environment for dining. Also pool towels, safe facilities provided free of charge. Would have appreciated a few more sun beds around the pool area. |

Close to the airport, but not noisy, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfast. There is a shuttle bus service to Funchal, operated by the hotel. |

Its a calm place next to the highway and the airport... Internet its TO expensive, should not be so "weasel" in the products of the bathroom ( 1 small bathsoap to 4 days). Minifrige should have more things to eat. |
