Staff were very helpful and friendly. The outside pools and gardens were lovely and well maintained, we weren't brave enough to take a dip it was November! The location is perfect only around 100 metres from the strip but you get no noise from it. The apartment was lovely too, beds were very low but comfy. Kitchen was well kitted out too.We found a lovely little restaurant near the top of the strip called El Buzio, 3 course meals for only 8€ with a jug of wine thrown in! All homemade too! Nothing we really didn't like but would have liked to know that if you use the indoor pool (which we would have used as it was November and too chilly for the outside pool) you must wear a swimming cap and flip flops, didn't think of taking a swimming cap with us! |

Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Easy parking and accessibility. Nice pool area. Some of the area around it a bit untidy and scrubland like |

The hotel was closer to the shopping strip than we realized. The pool was beautiful. The room was a good size for our family of four. The beds weren't as comfortable as we would have liked. The pool was on the "cool" side. |

Wonderful hotel. Very nice rooms, we had a brand new kitchen in our S/C studio. The pool area is very nice, plenty of sun loungers etc. It's just off the strip but insulated from the noise. Strongly recommended. |

Close to bars/restaurants. Cleaned every day. Option to eat/drink in hotel. Staff courteous and helpful. Temperature of main and toddler pools quite cold. Walking to beach with 2 small children not practical although regular shuttle service available. Drinks expensive in bar. Playground could be better - looks like an after thought. Constant barking of dogs close to hotel throughout night |

The Hotel was extremely clean and staff very helpful and courteous, pool was lovely. Although we booked a room overlooking the pool, the balcony was tiny and the wall of the balcony was so high you couldn't see anything unless you stood up, very very disappointing as I was looking forward to chilling out with breakfast and a lovely view to sit and enjoy, unfortunately that was impossible. The room was also extremely noisy. There were dogs barking all night long without stopping, they weren't on hotel grounds but you could hear them clearly and caused disturbed sleep every night, We were also woken up every morning to what sounded like a bottle bank outside the grounds and bottle were being smashed into the bin for a couple of hours every morning, so all in all a quiet nights sleep was impossible. |

Great location in regards to proximity to "The Strip". Stayed in T3 room, plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Mini-Market very convenient. Front desk staff was helpful. Bathrooms were not as clean as expected for this type of hotel. Didn't like not being able to leave a/c on when leaving the room during the day. |

had a lovely relaxing stay at the vila petra, rooms and grounds were very well kept and everything spotlessly clean, pool quite large and plenty of sunbeds. well equipped kitchen and very spacious room in general especially the bathroom. courteous staff. strange smell upon entering our room, not sure if smokers had been there before us. very noisy at night time as walls were very thin, didnt bother us as we were out late most nights anyway but may be a problem for families |

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to young couples or families - there were plenty of both during my stay here. The apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. There were plenty of english TV channels for those moments in between beach/pool trips and getting ready for nights out in town. (BBC1/3/4 ITV and Sky news) The kitchenette had everything you could want including toaster, kettle, pots, pans, (even hand blenders and food processors if you wanted to whip up a storm!). The onsite supermarket is also very convenient to pick up all the necessities. The pool area was lovely and the snack bar was great for those midday hunger pangs! The location was ideal for us as it was quiet but 5 mins away from the action. Not a dislike as such but just one suggestion - it would be great if the hotel had Wi-Fi as the dial-up internet connection in the hotel was slow. |

Facilities and amazing staff (restaurant, specially). The site applies "Not for away from Praia da Oura", but in fact, it's far away from beach (could take almost 30 minutes by walk); although, the hotel provides a bus (takes 5 minutes) to achieve the beach. |

This was our second visit to the Vila Petra and we enjoy staying there because the place is clean, child-friendly and offers good facilities including an indoor pool, a gymnasium, a games room, a kiddies play area and a regular shuttle bus to the beach. |

We found Halia on reception very friendly and extremely helpful when asking for directions to the various places we wanted to go to.Once we got to know the bus system we visited many different areas at a relatively low cost.Villa Petra is a great place to base yourself because of this. We also enjoyed a selection of different cocktails at the bar and found the bar staff very accommodating. |

The fact that it is advertised to have all the amenities but does not say that you have to pay extra for them. |

A very clean, modern and well maintained hotel, centrally located and quiet. The Reception staff and cleaning staff were excellent. However the man and lady that worked in the Bar/Restaurant for the pool were very rude and not a bit helpful. |
