The 2 bed apartment was very spacious, clean and very well equipped. Pool area very clean and child friendly. Staff helpful. Taxi to Old Town very reasonably priced (€4.65 each way). |

This was our second visit to the Vila Petra and we enjoy staying there because the place is clean, child-friendly and offers good facilities including an indoor pool, a gymnasium, a games room, a kiddies play area and a regular shuttle bus to the beach. |

We found Halia on reception very friendly and extremely helpful when asking for directions to the various places we wanted to go to.Once we got to know the bus system we visited many different areas at a relatively low cost.Villa Petra is a great place to base yourself because of this. We also enjoyed a selection of different cocktails at the bar and found the bar staff very accommodating. |

The fact that it is advertised to have all the amenities but does not say that you have to pay extra for them. |

A very clean, modern and well maintained hotel, centrally located and quiet. The Reception staff and cleaning staff were excellent. However the man and lady that worked in the Bar/Restaurant for the pool were very rude and not a bit helpful. |

The room was cleaned every day (including change of towels). The kitchen was very well endowed (most of the things you need in a kitchen), parking was very easy on site, staff friendly. Very nice garden. The fitness centre was located in a very small room. The hotel is located very far from the city centre and the furniture looks old and cheap (not what you would expect from a 4 stars hotel) but still in good shape. I would have appreciated a more diversified range of TV channels and a newer TV set. |

Clean and fairly new hotel and very helpful staff with great english speaking capabilities. Dish washer - great! I suspect families and senior citizens find the hotel fantastic because of a long rule set with rules prohibiting towels on balcony railings etc., but younger/single people being in Albufeira for going out, using a balcony after 10 pm etc. is probably better off finding another hotel. Some of the funiture was falling apart, and the first time one of us sat in a plastic balcony chair, it broke to pieces. We asked for a new chair several times, but never got one during our 10 day stay. The queue in the reception was often very long. ½ hour WiFi was 6 € and 1 hour WiFi was 13 € :-)...asked for an explanation a couple of times but never got one (I can't imagine what it would be:-)) |

Ideal for parents with young children. Seperate private toddler pool with their own sunbeds. Big main pool. Plenty of sunbeds with early placed towels being removed by staff. Apartments cleaned everyday. Very spacious and ideally located. Fourth time to Albufeira and best place we have stayed so far. True 4 star. |

very good facilities. Could have been more organised daily entertainment and better nightly entertainment if lilo'sand balls are not allowed in pool to keep children entertained. |

Everything, it was exceptionally clean, the rooms were a very good size and had all the equipment you would need for a self catering holiday. The pool was excellent, however there was one day when there was no beds available so we sunbathed on the grass - it was no big deal. |

Stayed in a Studio that was a good size. Clean, comfortable rooms. Really well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook your own meals. Good food in the pool snack bar. Great location for the shops and restaurants on the main strip. We had two rooms, one had a nice pool view but the other overlooked wasteland and a car park. We tried to move but after a 2hour wait were told "no more rooms" Would have been nice to have some complimentary toiletries. We had to buy soap. Electronic card access on doors and safe would be an improvement. We don’t like carrying keys around on holiday. Some sunbeds were reserved as early as 07.30am although the hotel policy was to remove items from reserved sunbeds this did not happen |

Everything - room facilities first class - like being home from home. Dishwasher, microwave, many kitchen utensils too numerous to mention. DVD Player and a selection of British channels on TV. Location was excellent - two minutes to numerous bars/restaurants yet quiet. Poolside sufficient loungers and space to relax in the daytime. Good food at hotel. All in all totally enjoyable experience The only think I did not like about this hotel was having to go home. Will definetely return in the very near future. |
