Excellent location 2 min walk from Albufeira town centre and 3 min walk from the beach, but far enough away to avoid the noise of the main square. Nice small size, friendly staff and good breakfast of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, ham, cheese, tea, coffee etc. but no cooked breakfast or toast. Good secure basement parking for 5 euros a day. Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating - it was better than many 4 star hotels I have been to. Having tried this hotel I would not consider any other hotel for a future visit to Albufeira! Shower water was hot enough on some occasions but lukewarm on others, which was OK in hot weather - but really a hotel should provide piping hot water at all times. Breakfast stated as 8.30am-10am might appear restrictive for those of us who like a lie-in on holiday - but then we arrived for breakfast at 9.50 each morning and had no problem, as everything seemed available until at least 10.45

The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the Old Town and just a few steps to the beach. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly; the hotel is very clean with excellent facilities. Rooms have been very well decorated and bathroom very modern. I would highly recommend this hotel for location and cleanliness. Breakfast was adequate and well laid out. Continental style.

Great location, just far enough away from the town centre to be away from the noise. We had 2 rooms, each one had a balcony, one with sea views. The rooms were well decorated and very clean. The Breakfast room was looking over the pool and they offered a good choice of continental options. There was free parking just outside and the staff were very friendly and there was always someone who spoke good english.

Vila Sao Vicente was a lovely small hotel. We stayed in the new extension with a marvellous view down the length of the beach, giving a fantastic sunrise display every morning. Breakfast was served in the dining room, again with lovely views across the terrace and swimming pool to the beach. Whilst called a continental breakfast, the selection was extensive, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, various breads and even freshly boiled eggs. The centre of the old town was just minutes from the front door and the beach even closer. We would certainly attempt to book into this hotel on any future trips to The Algarve. Not a thing

Small hotel very close to the beach. Our room overlooked the ocean and was quite spacious and clean. Wifi in room. Secure parking although very small entrance and tight parking. Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the pool and ocean. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the pool, the location just above the beach and just around the corner we found the steps to the walkway to the city. The desk clerk was helpful and we appreciated the gated underground garage for our rental car. I wish I would have paid for a seaside room with a balcony. Our room was streetside.

The hotel was excellent and also nthe staff very good value for money and good location. But if your booking request a sea view room with balcony.we must have had the only room without a balcony and would have been happy to pay extra if necessary.perhaps booking with booking.com you dont get the choice

The staff was very nice and helpful. I wish the trash can was larger in the room and that wash clothes were offered. I like to wash my body wish one while showering. At check out we were surprised to find that we would have to pay cash for several services we received such as a lunch we charged tou our room and bought at the hotel, parking, beech towels. We were very disappointed that items such as parking and beech towels were extra expenses and very disappointed to have not been informed of any of these charges ahead of time. Full disclosure is by far the weekest skill this hotel staff had. For this reason it is most likely we would not stay here again.

This is a classy small hotel, very well organised and in a prime location. Breakfast was fresh and generous and served in a room overlooking the atlantic and could be taken on the terrace beside the small but adequate pool. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms and public areas were all immaculate and well presented. Children under 12 not allowed and no pets either. Very peaceful. We couldn't get a seaview room but were just as pleased as our room did not get the morning sun but had a balcony overlooking the square which got the sun in the evening when it had left the poolside. The shower was difficult to regulate.

We have stayed in this region before and were already familiar with the local area. This hotel was the best we have stayed in so far, very clean, staff could not do enough for you, and very quiet in the evening, some hotels in this area can be suffer from late night noise from the nearby bars in the town square, but this one does not it is excellent. Would certainly stay here again.

We did like the service and cleanliness of this hotel, buffet breakfast was always fresh. The original room we had booked was very small with a tiny window looking on to the street at ground level. We asked for another room and had to pay a lot more, however this was well worth it as it was bright airy and modern. We would consider booking again.

The fantastic location, at the same time very quiet and nearby the lifely part of the city, the well decorated living and room as well, the nice relationship with of all the staff. It is not a complain, but I'd like to have wi-fi in the room. I'd not mind about paying more 5 euros in the bill, for having such a service free as all the other hotels I was in this trip around Europe. But I respect the hotel manager point of view.

Vila São Vicente is a small to mid-size hotel, qualified as a 3 star hotel. During our stay we found this is a rather undervalued score for all personnel since staff deserves a 5 star rating. Nothing too much asked and for us definitely a reason to come back.

Second time we have stayed at the Vila Sao Vicente. The Location is excellent five minutes walk to the Old Town and to the beach, 10 minutes walk to the new marina. The views are stunning, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the beautiful terrace next to the pool is heavenly.
