Vila Sol Algarve - A Renaissance Spa & Golf Resort

The staff were friendly and very helpful and were prepared to make changes to add to the comfort of guests.

The experience of being in a guetto of 42 apartments called Vila Sol Village.

The Vila Sol Village 42 apartments are about 1 km far away from the hotel Vila Sol. Therefore we don´t use the hotel facilities despite the possibility of calling for a transfer. The apartments and the Village facilities aren't five stars as pretended. Conclusion, Hotel and Village are different products in different places.

A 5 Star hotel is after all just a 5 star hotel and there are plenty to choose from. What makes the Vila Sol Algarve Renaissance Spa & Golf Resort stand out head and shoulders from the rest are its wonderful staff, who would probably walk on hot coals to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you to all of those who took care of me, especially Vera and Nicole at reception and the person who lent me their computer cable. The children, I booked because I thought there would not be too many. Having said that they did behave pretty well. Perhaps there could be an area by the pool designated for adults only for those of up who are escaping our own little monsters.

Excellent Buffet breakfast. Comfortable bedrooms. swimming pool was good size and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very luxurious hotel and would recommend it

drinks at the poolside bar are far too expensive. Shuttle buses to the marina do not run often enough. No bus between 1530 and 2000

we loved the hotel but could not use spa as eletricy went off, the hotel is ment to be a 5 star food was not 5 star but enjoyed our stay. we relaxed as we live in Lagos 30mins drive left the kids with my mum and spent time enjoying each other as it was our 17 wedding aniv.

food was left out to long on the buffie table drinks very expencive.

The quality of the breakfast especially considering there was only 16 guests in total in the whole of the hotel. The chef could easily have cooked to order instead of reheating.

La habitación enorme y muy luminosa, el personal excelente y la tranquilidad del lugar

Tal vez resulta demasiado aislado. Es impresicindible disponer de coche. De todas formas es ideal para los amantes del golf, el campo de golf esta junto al hotel. El Spa no esta dentro del hotel sino en otro edificio dentro de la urbanización en que se ubica el hote y a cierta distancia de este. El edificio principal de hotel resultaba impecable y la habitación excelente. Pero el aspecto exterior de las villas repartidas por los jardines del hotel ( bonitos y relajantes) daba cierta sensación de antiguedad y dejadez.

El hotel tiene una piscina cubierta, pero el agua estaba fria, y un jacuzzi, pero muy pequieño. Lo bueno que tiene el hotel, es que puedes utilizar las instalaciones del Spa de Vila Sol, a un km. del hotel. Pero pides en recepción que te lleven y te llevan y recogen en coche.

Lo que no me ha gustado es que son poco generosos. íbamos dos personas y teníamos un botecito de champú para las dos y un bote de gel para las dos. Para ser un hotel de 5 estrellas deberían cuidar más los pequeños detalles que es lo que les distingue. En otros hoteles de 5 estrellas encontramos en la habitación frutas, vino y agua... en este había una botella de vino con el precio al lado. Dos cositas más, encontré una mancha de sangre en el radiador del cuarto de baño y unos bichitos en los champiñones del desayuno. Seguramente pura coincidencia y que no desmerece al hotel.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Frühstücksbüffet war super.

Taxiservice im Hotel ist doppel so teuer als die normalen Taxen.

O espaço verde do hotel

Os funcionarios eram fantasticos e as condicoes do hotel excelentes. Adorei o terraco e a vista do mesmo.

Apenas duas coisas, a falta de privacidade do terraco, que embora dividido conseguiamos ver quem estava ao lado. O outro pormenor foi que a noite fomos jantar no Bar Prime e estivemos cerca de 50 minutos a espera, mas a comida valeu a pena!!!

Das instalações, do conforto do quarto (Suite Jardim), bastante agradavel para casal com filhos pequenos. Pessoal atencioso e profissional. Jardins e piscinas (exterior e interior) muito agradaveis.

Inexplicavel o facto de sauna, jacuzi e banho turco estarem localizados no SPA a 3km do Hotel. Era muito agradavel se tivessem sempre disponivel transporte para as vilas, já que a distancia desde a recepção ate ao alojamento ainda é grande.Principalmente se chegar ao hotel com filhos pequenos a dormir. Apenas um pequeno detalhe: Em Portugal fala-se Portugues. Alguns dos empregados, só falam inglês. Não é nada agradavel, estar em Portugal e apenas ser entendido em inglês, não faz sentido.
