Located in Sintra/Cascais Natural Park and less than 3 miles from the Atlantic beaches, Vila Bicuda Villas Resort offers self-catering studios and villas. The resort boasts 2 outdoor swimming pools. Each air-conditioned unit is spaciously laid out and includes an outdoor terrace or balcony with grounds and pool views. The sitting area has modern furnishings and the kitchen is fully equipped. During the day the on-site bakery offers bread, local pastries and coffee. Basic groceries are available from the grocery store on the property. In the evening, guests can enjoy Italian food on the outdoor terrace of the Vila Bicuda’s restaurant while enjoying views of the pool and grounds. Children can enjoy themselves at the playground with slides or use up their energy at the sports area. There is also a daycare center and babysitting service. The location and the tranquility. The hours of check-in and check out are absurd and the reception staff proved to be too rigid and even not to friendly in this respect.

It was calm, and the surroundings were nice and not too plastic- /resortlike. It nearly looked like a authentic village. The restaurant was not good. It was not very bad but we would have liked a better restaurant.

The hotel is located in a very quite area and childfriendy. It's a perfect location for a family trip with children but also for people who just want to relax in a quite, green area. The appartments are super clean and it was just perfect! There is a cafe where you can have breakfast in the morning, a small suprermarket, hairdresser , restaurant, etc... just perfect for a laid back vacation!

Spacious accommodation Well designed Very nice grounds Access to café and grocery store The internet connection was slow at best and sometimes completely non- functioning. Our unit was located on the courtyard. It was very quiet at night but there was a fair bit of noise from routine morning activities of cleaning and gardening staff.

I liked the freedom of a villa versus the confines of a hotel. The facilities were excellent, the pool was very big, the cafe, shop, laundry were all used! €6 to cacais was good value when I wanted to go into town.overall - very happy and would definietly stay here again

On my birthday they offered a bottle of porto, that was a very nice intention! It's clean and has all the facilities needed around. Swimming pool was far too cold to be able to swim. A 4* minus... a bit old fashion.

I most enjoyed the fact that the resort consisted of a small area that provided a supermarket, coffee shop, hairdressers, laundry service and restaurant. My only negative points would be that I didn't really find the villa very cosey. I travelled alone so it did also become quite lonely in the evenings because the shops and bars within the resort closed quite early. There was also not a welcome gift in the villa.

Having a local market and cafe/bakery is very nice a well as having a kitchen if you prefer not to eat out all the time.Security gate add's extra safety for families with kids!Nice pool.

The location, close to the sea, Guincho and Cascais, the relax vacation and the comfort. Not a real complaint but a fact to be reported: the (extra) beds for the two (grand)children were not comfortable, in fact the beds quite unstable. This was in contrast to the other comfortable equipment. But otherwise no complaints at all, on the contrary.

Location, the staff was friendly. I stayed in the 8006 and it was too close to the coffee shop and supermarket so you have a lot a noise after 8 am. The room was also bad isolated so you could here everything on the other room.

Fantastic stay at Vila Bicuda, the Studio apartment we stayed in was clean and very spacious. The kitchen had adequate facilities and the bathroom was great. The pool facilities were great, but make sure it's a hot day as the water is slightly cold! Overall a fantastic stay. The location meant we needed to get a cab when we wanted to go anywhere. But it really wasn't too much of a problem at €5 a go.

The Villa Bicuda is very relaxing quiet & safe, facilities are excellent pool, coffe shop & resturant on site You would need a car as there are no foothpaths leading away from complex difficult to walk anywhere

I love this hotel i have stayed a few times now, the staff are friendly and helpful, the children have a great time at the cafe, playground and of course the pool when the weather is warm. There is nothing i don't like, but you do need a car to get around.
