Fräscht och snyggt hotell med ett äldre kundklientel. Bra frukost. Inget trådlöst bredband på rummet utan andast i receptionen. Tillgång till deta fick man betala för. Vi måste betala för et "24-timars-kort" då de hade slut på "30-minuters" - fast vi bara behövde tre minuters uppkoppling. Extremt dålig service och omodernt, dels att inte ha uppkoppling på rummet, dels att ta betalt för det. Vi rekommenderar inte detta hotell! |

The fact that kids could stay free of charge. The sea view from the terrace. The room had a poor view to the see. It was a corner room and we almost did not see the sea from the room... |

Staff were excellent at all times Queue to check-out was horrific. Not helped by new IT system which was not understood by staff and added to their frustrations |

The Hotel has an old world charm but is a little tired.Parking is tight on sight but cheap and secure parking adjacent.Great swimming pool and good beach near by.Very hany base to stay rather than lisbon for sightseeing adjacent historical areas such as Sintra.Some great restauants in the town at reasonable prices. |

The views where stunning and staff excellent. Breakfast equally excellent with more choice than any top hotel that I have stayed in. I always relax in Villa Gal'e. |

The view and convenient location Definitely lack of parking spaces. This was actually quite disappointing, I think, hotel of this category should assure there are enough parking spaces for guests. |

The place is very beautiful for someone that enjoys sea and beach (although water is cold for South of Europe standards) Very noisy due to bar music till 24h00m (couldn't sleep); old decoration; no parking (existing one is very small and without any control); Staff without any customer focus |

Location of the hotel is really excellent When arriving we had to wait for 20 minutes to have someone taking the luggages, furthermore the hotel, although been renewed, two front doors were brocken, when we asked for the towels and the swimming pool we were informed that without the a "towel card" we could'nt get them. In fact the reception desk forgot to put them in our dossier. The swimming pool is also open to people not staying at the hotel therefore there were'nt enough long chairs for clients of the hotel. |

The location of the hotel was excellent - on a rocky outcrop, overlooking a small bay and a beach. I particularly liked the fact that our room had a sea view with two (!!) balconies and we slept to the sound of the crashing waves... Very romantic! We also liked the breakfast - plentiful and varied. No complaints, the hotel was really good. The only thing I did not like was that we could not see the sunset from the room as it faces south, not west, unlike what was written in some of the guest reviews I had read. However, this was not a real problem as we could watch the sunset from a nearby restaurant or from the rocks called Furnas right next to the hotel. |

The location is excellent and the design of the terrace makes most use of this aspect. Staff are very freindly, helpful and pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel is not signed as Vale Gale as we were unsure as to location on arrival. Otherwise perfect. |
