This 4-star modern hotel is next to the Lisbon Convention Centre and the popular Docks area, just a few steps away from the Belém tower and the Jeronimos Monastery. Vila Galé Ópera is easily accessible via public transportation and it is less than 10 minutes from Lisbon city centre. There is a variety of rooms and suites that are comfortably furnished and include room service. Health Club facilities include heated indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, fitness centre and massage treatments. For entertainment there is a snooker room and occasionally live music during the evenings. The friendly staff is at hand 24 hours per day and happy to arrange day trips or special activities for your children. Galé Ópera’s restaurant serves rich breakfast buffet and both buffet and à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Every meal is complemented with Alentejo wines. I liked the facilities, the neatness and how clean it is. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was excellent, and the prices both at the bar and the restaurant were good. I value the fact that I could walk to the conference center. The public transport was good and there were many possiblities around the hotel.

The rooms where very clean and the hotel was very modern. It was walking distance to the bars on the docks and only 20 min walk into Belem. The staff where very nice and helpful as it was our first time in Lisbon. The downside was it was right under the bridge so a little noisy but it didnt bother us that much. The city is not near to the hotel but there is a number 15 tram next to the hotel that takes you into the city center but be warned the trams are very busy and if I went again I would get a day ticket for the tourist bus, its a lot easier.

I liked the breakfast is OK, half board is not as i expected, i ought to pay for tea, water, and soft drinks which is not stated in the reservation. Internet is very expensive as well as not realiable.

The breakfast and the restaurant The beds are a bit hard and the pillows and covers are not nice at all begin synthetic. The pillows are very uncomfortable.

The price was very competitive. The room was big and very clean. The breakfast was very nice, although a bit more choice would have been appreciated. In all, my experience in the Vila Galé Ópera was nice. The price of the gym was not included (11 euros/day). Internet is available at a price of 2.5 euros/hour.

The staff were quite slow at check-in and didn't seem particularly organised. The cable internet in the room was intermittent and very frustrating, asked for a refund and received one. Breakfast good. Wouldn't stay here again unless to attend the congress center which is within walking distance.

Location is excellent for the Congress Conference Centre. It has little to recommend it other than the location for conferences at the Congress. Next to large bridge and railway lines, hence noisy and the beds are hard. So don't bank on too much easy sleep!

As i had requested a silent room, i was expecting one. Once I arrived, i was told that it would not be possible and i was given a room on the noise side of the hotel.when i arrived to the room, it was not clean....i returned to reception and sudenly i was given a silent room, cleaned!!

Front desk personal was very helpfull The location is not good as the hotel is just bellow the 25 April Bridge and you can hear the train crossing the bridge as if there are no halls. Even having asked a room that gace the frent of the hotel you can hear rhe train and also teh cars at the Avenue India
