Vila Galé Porto  

When we checked in we were told that the spa was included in the booking, but when we checked out we were told that the spa was not included and we were charged approx 30 Euros for use of the spa for 2 days. No where on the internet was it mentioned that the Spa was extra. When we queried this we were told that they will call the Police if we do not pay the bill. After a lot of arguments they decided to waive the fee.

Beautiful hotel with lots of facilies. Good food and large rooms.

I liked the location of the hotel. The friendliness of all the staff with whom I had dealings. All were extremely courteous. I will most certainly stay at the Vila Gale Porto on my next visit to the city.

There was nothing that I did not Like about the Hotel except the hardness of the matresses on the beds. I would prefer a softer one. Other than this minor hiccup I could not fault the hotel at all. I thank you are all the staff for their professionalism, curtesy and friendliness.

Excellent, high quality hotel

For such an expensive hotel, it is unforgettable that they do not have free wi fi in the rooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the contrary, they charge for 5 Euros per day use of Wi Fi in the rooms!!!! Unacceptable!!!!!!!

Nice and very friendly staff, clean and confortable room, good buffet breakfast, central location, good and reasonably priced car park, good swimming pool and spa on the top floor with great city view

Park and spa/wimming pool are extras, which can be seen as a negative, but as they are reasonably priced I guess it makes more sense to have users paying than having more expensive rooms where non-users would be paying a bit for park and pool they don't need.

Swimming pool and In-t are not included in price. In swimming pool they demand to have cap but nobody noticed it. Info on reception is very poor and girls are not polite. Condition and safing box were broken and no reaction for request about repair.

Good location near metro station, 10 min by foot to city center, new building - 19 floors with swimming pool on the 19th fl.

Breakfast for the price (10 € / person) is a bit overpriced considering most of the hot food was cold and tasteless

Very good location, close to the metro (connection Airport) and walking distance to the city center and main shopping area (Via Catarina). Friendly staff, good value for the money.

Apenas lo he visto...dormimos, desayunamos y nos fuimos. Pero la primera impresión ha sido muy buena. La habitación comoda y amplia y el desayuno super completito. Como se dice alli...tudo bennn!!!

Petit déjeuner copieux, chambres propres, spacieuses et agréables, personnel aux petits soins.

L'internet payant dans les chambres est clairement un gros point négatif. Il devrait être inclus dans le prix de la chambre.

La piscina del hotel, el desayuno y la limpieza del hotel.

El precio de la piscina (11 €) es elevado para los niños pequeños, que tienen que pagar igual que un adulto además de para el tiempo real de uso de la piscina ya que como máximo se esta 1 hora, más con niños.

El desayuno, buen buffet con variedad y buena organización por parte del personal. La situación está bien, hay una parada de metro y de autobús muy cerca del hotel y también para ir andando al centro.

Las habitaciones están bien pero nos dieron una habitación para fumadores cuando habíamos reservado de no fumadores.No nos cambiaron de habitación a pesar del olor a tabaco porque estaban completos por la semana santa. El primer día nos cambiaron las toallas del baño a petición nuestra y el segundo día ni se molestaron en cambiarlas. En general mejoraría la limpieza de la habitación.
