We liked the location in that it was easy to drive to and on the quieter side of town. It was an easy walk to the center of the city and the river, although the hills slowed us down a bit. Porto is a great city to visit. |

Lovely view over the city from room, good food, friendly staff. Decor a little tired especially in rooms. Location was terrible, far out of centre in very poor area, tramps living within view of restaurant (did not appreciate seeing them use courtyard area as their toilet) also had to go through what appeared to be the "red light" district to get to city. Would not think it wise to walk around at night. A great pity hotel in this location. This would put me off staying here again pity the hotel could not have been built somewhere else. |

Apart from initially giving me a normal double room, and then having to request a junior suite as per my booking, the hotel reception staff were excellent. The hotel is in a run down part of the city with harmless vaigrants frequenting the area of an evening. |
