Calm area (which was what we're looking for and it's difficult to find in Algarve). When we wanted distraction, we went to Albufeira which is just some minutes away (driving). The staff was very kind, except maybe for the spa receptionist. We had a pool view room when we had booked for a land view at no extra cost. Parking and the crowded beach |

Perfect location, excellent facilities, contemporary decor, lovely staff and service, no children, best welcome we have ever experienced (and we've stayed at some of the world's best), first class food. Huge pool with plenty of loungers, sandy beach with 3 beach restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Free shuttle to Albufeira - use it to explore the old Morrish quarter and museums. Pillow menu! No, nothing. If you want shops, tourism and "things to do" there are plenty of places elsewhere! |

unfortunately my wife fell ill on day 2 of our holiday and was hospitlised with a heart problem for the rest of our holiday. Hotel Vila Gale Praia pulled out all the stops to minimise my anxiety and the staff could not of done more to assist in giving me all the details necessary to make the right medical contacts. Each staff members concern for me was as much as if I was one of their own family. |

I agree with all the other reviewers, this is an excellent hotel. Try to book room 317 or 318 for a big terrace + pool view. |

Really friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Great breakfast buffet: very fresh and good choices. Beds are very hard - might be missing a topdeck? We had dinner there twice but quality of food was not up to standards. |

Peace and quiet. No kids. Excellent levels of service from the very friendly staff. Nice spa. Breakfast was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Matress was too far too soft. |

just yards away from a georgous beach, the pool was very nice and the room was very comfortable. The reception staff was very nice. The spa staff was downright rude - we did not invest any money in their services. No parking during the day becuase there is limited beach parking and beachgoers use the hotel parking for their use - don't leave during the day. |

A calma só possível devido à reduzida dimensão do hotel. Para o preço cobrado pela diária, não faz sentido cobrar-se um adicional de 7,5€ /dia para utilizção da sauna/jacuzzi e banho turco. Deveria estar incluído. |

Las instalaciones y el trato, un hotel totalmente enfocado para el descanso. Te cobran por el uso de un gimnasio, cosa que no te dicen por ningún lado y es muy pequeño. Por el uso del Spa también cobran. |
