Relaxing environment and good breakfasts. A light on the air-conditioning unit started flashing every night for a short period during the night. When front desk was queried the answer was that the unit did this as it changed mode (whatever this means) and so there was nothing they could do. |

Basic hotel with helpful staff, food very basic but not expensive. Central Tavira therefore able to eat out easily and easy access to ferry to island |

For me it was easy access to the salt pans for the bird life, and again, east access to the the town of Tavira. The town was very pleasant to walk around with a varied choice og good cafes & resaturantes. |

The siting of this hotel is very good for walking into the town. Unfortunately our room was directly over the siting of the rubbish bins. Collection in the early hours of the morning...very noisy. It is a shame that this Hotel did not offer us the use of the rooms on the next level where it would not have been so noisy. Although it was busy this hotel was not full. |

I have stayed at this Vila Gale hotel on at least half a dozen previous ocassions when playing golf on the Algarve with a group of friends. This was the first time my wife had accompanied me and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We only ate breakfast in the hotel however and preferred to visit restaurants in the town in the evening as well as local towns, villages and nearby beaches during the daytime in preference to using the hotel pool which we did two or three times. It is none the less a welll maintained pool about which we had no complaints at all. The air conditioning unit in our room, 3014 was quite noisy and sometimes kept us awake at night |

Relaxed feel to the hotel and pleasant staff at reception. Nicely appointed and well laid out. Spa and indoor facilities on hand if weather was poor. Good breakfast, Location close to old town and restaurants was a plus factor. Lack of sound proofing a big factor. Noisey at times from water running in pipes toilet/shower in next room, walking in room above, doors shutting etc. and that was off season. Could be an issue with a big crowd in the hotel or lively neighbours. Suggest stair/exits have more prominent sugns for safety reasons. |

Excellent breakfast, closeness to town and ferry to beach, pleasant room, usually quiet and peaceful. Noise of cases being wheeled along corridor in middle of night. Some poor cooking spoilt excellent choice. Swimming pool too cool, despite hot weather - suggest possible use of solar panel. |

Its position in a lovely town and as a centre for touring the area. Noisy guests coming in late, also dinner cooking was middling (breakfast was great). |

Very clean, comfortable resort hotel with a beautiful pool. Just a short (5 minute) walk to catch the boat taxi (10/15 minute ride) to beach. On-site Spa provides 1st class services at reasonable rates. Large & nice selection available breakfast buffet. |

We liked the swimming pool, the breakfast and mainly the location which was very practical. Mainly two: 1) The bathroom tiles had some black molde due to lack of proper cleaning. Even though the rest was ok you always wonder if the cleaning level of the hotel is up to standards. 2) Corridor noise. Even though there enough space for a second door between the front door and the bedroom, there wasn't any. The corridor/hall noise would just invade the bedroom. 3) lack of maintenance, such has broken safe and broken thing in the bathroom. |

Not far from the bustling town centre, this hotel enjoys a quiet hillside location overlooking Tavira and provides the discerning traveller with a comfortable base. |
Pedras d'el Rei is located in the heart of Ria Formosa Natural Park, 1km from the Beach Barril. The apartments have a regional style and are surrounded by magnificent green areas and gardens. |
The complex is located close to Cabanas, a beautiful and typical fishing village on the border of Ria Formosa Natural Reserve. |
Bordering Monte Gordo Beach, this hotel is surrounded by sand dunes and provides guests with family-friendly accommodation in the town of Monte Gordo. |
