Helpful friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Romantic 19 th. c. mansion.
This B&B is outstanding in all areas. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The facility is well taken care of and very comfortable. Lots of private, safe parking. Well located within easy walking to Old Town Sintra. The breakfast was outstanding. Would highly recommend this to others and would gladly return again.
All was very memorable and outstanding!
Good location - nice access to beaches, good food, Sintra castles, villages. Stuff very friendly.
It's really great place... for couples, for families. Moreover, beaches are close, Lissbon is just 40 min away by train. We definately will stay again
Pleasant, helpful staff. Beautifully prepared fresh fruit at breakfast. Good to have secure parking in busy Sintra, convenient for station.
The beds are comfortable, but the twin room is very compact: there is no spare surface, not even a bedside table, on which to put things down and there are no hooks to hang towels, etc. The window is in the roof, so no view out.
Staff were excellent, took time to give recommendations (which were spot on) and couldn't have been more helpful. I would certainly return there on another trip to Sintra. As most reviewers have mentioned breakfasts were excellent, freshly cooked eggs not warmed over in a hot dish. A good start to every day.
The only very minor inconvenience for us was that our room (Iris) was rather small and the bathroom had no where to hang wet towels except over the shower stall.
the owner of the place was super helpful in everything. I truly raccomend this place
Very charming hotel with a wonderful breakfast.
A little far from Sintra old town. Had a nice kitchen in the suite but it was not well eqipped with pots and pans. We would have liked to cook but were limited due to lack of usable pots and pans.
The staff was very helpful about the seeings around sintra, the breakfast was goo, the room was spacious ther breakfast was good. Wfi was good. The location is perfect for Sintra
Atmosphere in the hotel is great, very nice staff, great breakfast, beautifull garden, individual service (you're not a number but a person) very very nice, free parking
Terrible attic bedroom with no window only fan light in roof
The moment we arrived at Villa Da Rosas, we were made to feel so welcome and at ease straight away by the wonderful Sergio and the staff there. The room was sublime and we had an excellent sleep on our stay. The breakfast in the morning was of good quality and there was plenty. Stay here if you want to be pampered!
Small friendly family run hotel . Delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit & juice & any egg dish you liked plus bread, cakes etc. Staff pleasant & helpful.
That we only booked for 2 instead of 4 nights!
the location the large garden and pool area breakfast service and personel
room in the "basement" garden level
Discovering this haven; breathtaking garden and grounds and charming hotel. A delightful escape from a travel schedule.
It was difficult to locate, even with GPS, but we were guided over the phone to the right spot by the staff person who was patient and welcoming.
personal attention and consideration. friendliness and kindness
I liked everything
Loved Villa Das Rosas and particularly Tanya, Sergio, and Claudia who run the place. They were so kind and helpful and made the most delicious breakfasts!! The facilities themselves are beautiful and I'm so glad I stayed here. I enjoyed Sintra even more than Lisbon, so would recommend anyone going to Portugal to stay here.
The grounds were beautiful, position great and all staff were very helpful. It is a boutique hotel so not many guests at any time. Fabulous breakfast too!
Room was a bit cramped and no fridge but the positives out weighed these negatives.
everything; staff was very friendly and helpful and it is a great place to be! We loved it!
Staff/Garden/Pool/breakfast/friendly and helpful staff with local knowledge/Breakfast/Easy to get to by train from Lisbon and within 5 minutes of station.
Dog barking from neighbours garden early morning
Nice and big bath and bedroom. Beautiful garden and nice swimming pool. All touristic attractions , public transport and restaurants where easy reachable from the villa. Friendly perdonal.
Noise from main street (cars drive very fast when passing by) when in the garden.
The hosts Mary-Joao, Tanya and Sergio made us feel welcome and we felt home immediately. We we're very sad we had to leave so soon. Best breakfast of the entire trip! And we felt that any request one might have, they'd make it happen! Thank you!!
Relly nothing :)
the closed garden and privacy
road noise, and neighboring vicious dog
very beautiful and cozy territory. we had extremely nice evening sitting with wine close to to the pool. room was equipped with old fashioned super cool furniture and bathroom.
a/c system didn't work so it was pretty hot night huh. breakfast is fine, but little bit poor for this money.
Very friendly and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. All the recommended restaurants and sights to visit were excellent and the Villa and its grounds delightful and very relaxing. I would definitely recommend to others and we will visit again when next in Sintra.
