the landscape its stunning! its very tranquil, perfect for relaxation! 1-the fact they charge €15 a day to use what they call a gym which its a quite spacious room with hardly any and poor equipment; 2- found the staff not properly trained, some of them quite incompetent! 3- no wireless facilities + only 1 computer in the business center with a broken printer; 4- poor service at the restaurant; 5- no room service. |

The place is excellent. Very charming, great atmosphere, incredibly nice people, very laid back, peaceful.. A very good alternative for anyone wanting to make a holiday in the southern Portugal but not keen on the touristic resorts in algarve. From Monchique one drives easily to both the beaches on the southern coast and the western coast as well. The swimming pool which is excellent, could be open earlier on in the morning for the people who want to bath before leaving for the day trips to coast etc. The shower head did not stay on its place, a minor inconvinience. |

Great rooms and peaceful surroundings. Ideal base for Hill walking or Coastal trips. Food at other local eateries was also good. We were not made aware of the full facilities available until it was too late for us. You must ask staff, they dont communicate well. |

The breakfast buffet was generous. Singularly the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. A dark, dim room looking out on a cliff wall. The gardening on the wall was lovely but the wall was 4 feet from our window - not the view "of the esplanade" we had expected. All facilities, including the pool, were at extra cost. Not even close to the two other 4* hotels we stayed at on this trip. |

Existiu "confusão" com a idade do filho.Na apresentação informava que existia desconto de 50% até aos 12 anos, no local que era até aos 11. De qualquer forma, o hotel cobrou apenas os 50% |

Da calma, não aceitarem reservas de grandes grupos porque destabilizam e fazem muito barulho(neste fim de semana estava a infarmed e foram muito destabilizadores, fizeram muito barulho até ás 2 da manhã ora par quem quer descansar não é nada agradável) |

ausgezeichnetes Abendessen und sehr freundliches Personal. gute Lage in superniedlichem etwas überteuertem Dörfchen. Tolles Wasser; den Aufenthalt im Schwimmad kann man guten Gewisseens durch langes Duschen ersetzen..wenn man nicht wegen der Anwendungen kommt. erst mal finden den Ort...südl. von Monchique liegt Das Caldas de Monchique. Die Terme liegt nebenan und es gibt ca. 10 Euro Rabatt bei Anwendungen. Sie müßte dringend überholt werden, Rost ist an vielen Stellen zu sehen. |
