The food was terrible. The breakfast was the worst we have ever had and it cost €54! The location of the Hotel is not great and the rooms were very small. Overall, we would not stay here again. |

The Hotel overall is good. We had a standard room; it was not very big but on a very high floor, where we had nice views to the city; Breakfast is also good; rather continental with scrambled eggs, salami, butter...and not worth it for 20 EUR that it costs. The opinion regarding the hotel staff is mixed: some receptionists were good and other couldn't almost speak properly english. One of the receptionist was very good and friendly, the other ones could not give us any tips about the city and were not helpful at all. Overall the Hotel is good but be aware that it is a business hotel and not for leisure (see below). - Internet Connection is very low and costs 3 euros per hour. - On the Website (spa) it is written that hotel guests have free access to the spa services, which is not quite true: you're only allowed to go to the fitness center and outdoor pool (which in October it was already closed). Entry to the Hammam costs 50 euros per person and day (according to the responsible for the Hotel) and 40 euros according to the Hotel responsible?! if you book a massage (min 80 eur.) then the rest of the spa if for free. |

we were upgraded to a suite when we checked in. it was a high priced weekend night so we paid a high price to start with hard to get the room that dark at night with poorly designed curtains and all sorts of digital lights running. |

Courteous and efficient staff, spacious and quiet rooms with excellent a/c. Can't really comment on dining quality although breakfast was good. Open - plan nature of bar and reception area not everyone's cup of tea |

The fact that the Portugese staff could not be nicer...especially the staff at the breakfast buffet...my compliments... The fact that the pool was the size of the washing basin and that it closed at 8:00 pm. and the pretentous and sad excuse for a Spa& Wellness establishment adjacent to the Hotel. |

Lots of lights in the room during night and noisy air conditioning. Paid wireless lan in a 5 start hotel. Hotel staff seemed not trained to do what they are supposed to. |

We really liked the ambiance, decoration and design and the food was excellent in all the restaurants. Staff were lovely and very efficient. It required a guided tour to get to the swimming pool,not easy to find but worth the journey . |

The room was excellent and beautifully designed, I only wish we had had more time to make the most of all of the services. What is great about the VIP Grand Hotel and Spa is that you can use the spa facilities and the gym without paying an extra fee - it is included and this was a really nice surprise. Treatments are extra as expected. |

loved the modern facilities -- rain shower in the bathroom. Loved how clean things were kept -- great job to housekeeping. Did not like that the shower didn't drain -- it was gross actually. Didn't like the fact the front desk staff weren't willing to help when we first arrived -- an hour before usual check-in time and the woman said we had to wait, told us to go for a swim. I had a 6 month old baby that had just flown through the night and was very cranky and tired -- was very relieved when a second person at the front desk took over and checked us in early -- she was very helpful. |

The luxury and the amazing confort that this magnificent hotel provides. We were unable to obtain full darkness in the room, and after the 7am it was very dificult to sleep. |

Great saunas available to hotel guests without additional cost. Very good breakfast. Air conditioning is too strong and control at room does not have much effect. Bit annoying to transfer public area with swim-suit and gown to reach Spa/pool facilities. |

The spa and bedroom and Welcoming. Fitted carpet was dirty in the entrance and the shower blind button was not working very well. During the night, the tv was not working due to a matter with the cable connexion. Maybe as we paid less as booked on internet we had an old room... |

This is a very good hotel. Clean and luxurious rooms. Staff very helpful and spoke English very well. The metro station is a couple of minutes away. And so is a big enough shopping center. Very good breakfast included in the room price. The swimming pool was very cold. |

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff was very The aquarium tub was a nice concept but the water did not completely drain on the far end. It took too long to fill (30 min or so) since the water was only trickling so I was disappointed to be unable to use it. |
