When you spent almost a 100 EUR per night; you'd expect at least a minimum of comfort. Well, wasnt the case with this so called 'VIP' Hotel. the room I was offered was the coldest one could imagine and, of course, the heating wasnt working at all... tried to change the room, the guy at the reception was not the kindest possible, really lacking customer service skills. i've menaged to convince him to check some other rooms and after checking 5-6 (all on the first or second floor - probably the worst) of them, i chose one - smaller and warmer, the only one where the heating worked (half of it, but enough to 'survive'). to be mentioned that the reception guy lied saying that its a problem in the whole hotel when I've asked to change the floor; so, i've just asked a couple of persons I've met and all said the heating is fine and running at the upper floors... so, I guess booking.com guests are treated unfair... 4 stars hotel? yeah right .... so, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my enemies :)
bathroom nice and clean
Staff not very freindly Room too small for a couple Nothing in the fridge No food service No parking Only few tv channels
Location, right across the street we have the subway and a shopping mall with restaurants, cinema, etc.
Nothing to declare.
First of all, the location is absolutely great. Staff was super nice, the facilities were modern and impeccable, breakfast had a wide variety of foods to choose from and at night there was no noise at all. After check out, the staff was nice enough to store some of our bags away until we came back later to leave the city. I'll definitely go back to this hotel next time I'm in Lisbon!
Cheap, close to metro.
Really nice hotel. Central, modern, clean and big room
WiFi a bit slow
I live that fact that the room was clean and modern. The location was good as it was close to many amenities.
Location was good but from this experience i would prefer moving closer to the center of Lisbon. Somwhere like Rossio would be perfect. The Wifi here was awful, i tried to plan some things for the day but i couldnt get anything done on their wifi, a real let down.
The neighborhood is nice but unfortunately you need to change metro lines to reach the center.
You pay what you get. It is not at all a 4 stars hotel but it is what we were expecting given the price. Very close to the metro station on the line to the airport, and not that far from center. If you are with kids and not interested in late-night movida, it is a good location. Breakfast offer was quite complete.
Few details that could improve this hotel very much: - mini-fridge was empty and not working - in the room there was no cattle for boiling water (important when you travel with kids and need to prepare instant milk - or if you simply want to make yourself a cup of tea)
Good location , clean , nice designed rooms and toilets.
A very modern feel to this hotel. Excellent facilities, very helpful staff & a calm, quiet atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi which actually works!. On a direct Metro line from the airport, although one change is needed to get to any of the city centre lines. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I'll probably stay again next time.
Apart from the Maracana restaurant (a good, down-home style restaurant) round the corner, there's only a rather faceless collection of fast-food outlets in the mall opposite.
Location, price, modern furniture.
Looks and feels like a 3 stars hotel.
Very nice Good staff , sleep very well, good location ...
A little problem in the wall paint, could clean the floor a little better , I've seen a bad bug in the toilet ...
An typical modern hotel with pleasant rooms, clean and in the next road to where I needed to go.
The totally impersonal nature of the place. The staff were OK but the lack of creature comforts was a big disappointment. Anyone looking at the 4 stars on the Boking.com page will be disappointed. The 'bar' consisted of a couple of shelves with a few bottles on them in the lobby. There was absolutely nothing in the room apart from furniture. There was a mini-bar with a list on top where the guest was asked to fill in anything taken from the bar. You should be so lucky. There was NOTHING in it apart from empty glass. Not even a bottle of water. At least the tap worked in the bathroom. Facilities for making tea or coffee in the room - forget it. I was late arriving but these was not even a machine from which I could purchase a Mars Bar or a packet of crisps or a bottle of water. Breakfast was self service even the tea and the coffee. I would rate this place as very poor in terms of facilities; I stopped at Youth Hostels in the 1950s which were more welcoming.
When we checked in the room was not ready. When we came back after a city trip at 3 pm the next day the room was not ready. Housekeeping not very organized. They should communicate better with the reception. Do not give a room if the room is not ready
The hotel is well situated and comfortable. Beds very good. Nice and quiet - very little noise from other rooms or street noise.
The rooms are for two people but there is only one chair! Nothing in the mini bar. The lifts are very slow - one lift is insufficient for the number of people in the hotel.
Clean and comfortable for a very good rate
Tea making facilities not available a little far from the centre
location, clean, price, staff.
Location and price.
The hotel location and value for money are excellent, but my "ten" goes to two front desk employees, Bruno and Fernanda. I left a cell phone behind, and these two extremely helpful people were great help. Thank you very much to both of you.
breakfast very basic staff not very friendly lifts extremely slow
The hotel was nice and clean.
In nights has heard the street noise, which did not let sleep very well.
Good facilities Great location Fantastic price
Wonderful stay. Well received by polite and extremely helpful staff. Perfect location.
The bedroom and the bathroom were very big. I would stay at the same hotel again.
