Pretty shaby rooms
Location and cordiality of the staff
- Location - View (we asked to have a room viewing the river and our request was granted) - TV not working and was promptly replaced - Conference centre - PC available - Size of the room
- The bathroom was not properly cleaned during our stay - No fridge - Quality of sheets - Breakfast not included / too expensive
Ideally situated close to the river, good restaurants and a fabulous shopping center
Plug and light broken. Wifi not working for 2 days I stayed.
Location in new city. Modern style
Too far from old city center. Too busy.
Good place to spend one night near the airport
Breakfast was really bad and expensive
Hotel is very good for short stay due to close location to airport (15 min by metro), railway station (10 min walking), park of nations and oceanario ( 10 min walking) and city center (20 min by metro). Good wifi connection.
Breakfast could be better, a bit noizy if window is opened
my wife and i spent a wonderful week in lisbon and couldn't have picked a better hotel. the location was perfect, the staff were helpful and pleasant. the area is modern with lots of lovely restaurants, but with a ten minute walk to the metro we were in the centre of lisbon in 15 minutes, best of both worlds.
Love the modern and old look of the building. All mixed into one great idea
Shower, water easily leaked out
Location, wi-fi, breakfast buffet.
Decor a bit old; lighting a bit dark in public areas.
hot stuffy room. disappointing breakfast. disinterested staff.
Migel, on the front desk, helped us re-book an airline after we missed our flight. He went above and beyond what we expected. Also, Ana Rita, was exceptional.
the prices in the dining room and bar. Far more expensive than any where else we stayed.
We liked to stay in this hotel. It is near train statin, for us it was exelent because our distanation was Portimao (Algarve).
Good location for sightseeing tours
The rooms are clean but basic. Bathrooms are fine. Parking under the hotel. We had no time for breakfast so no comment on that.
Price!, much to expensive for the room you'll get (€125,-). Closeby is an Ibis, which is just as nice and much cheaper. No pool, no balcony.
This hotel is close to the airport (10 min), but 20 min from the real centre. it's also close to Vasco da Gama shopping mall.
Checking in took 15 min., that's really extremely long. If you have a room on the back side of the hotel, the sound of the railway can be anoying.
Very impersonal as a holiday hotel. Special meals advertised on menu and in lifts not available in restaurant - excuse was that all was sold out at lunch time.
bathroom had mould round bath only 1 towel for 2 people. staff very off hand
1. When we arrived the reservation system was not working (E.G., internet problems) therefore there were some challenges in obtaining our reservation. 2. We requested a quiet room in advance but we were put into an adjoining room and could hear the television and conversations of the neighbour. The hotel staff were not client service oriented when we requested a room change. They simply said it wasn't possible to change rooms and they were not going to do anything about it because their reservation system was not working. The front desk staff need more training in professionalism and client service. 2. The elevators were not in service and we had to wait at least 30 minutes watching the elevators pass us by. We were traveling with a baby and a senior so we had to wait for the elevator instead of use the stairs. 3. Fire hazard/risk of injury: One of the adults we were traveling with took the stairs because the elevators were not functioning. The stairways between floors were not illuminated which poses a risk to clients if there was a need to evacuate by staircases. These need to be fixed immediately. 4. The bathrooms were old and not as clean as expected. The bathtub and bathroom tiles had dark mold/dirt.
I've stayed at the ARTS Hotel for the first time in 2012. It was a very pleasant stay so this time I've decided to choose the same hotel. Booked a standard room, which was located on the 2nd floor. It was a massive deception when I walked through the door. The wooden floor was all scratched, the TV was very old and the image was the worse I've seen in a hotel room, the table and chair in the room was old and there was pieces of wood coming off...absolutely terrible. Will not stay again.
Breakfast very satisfactory porter was very helpful more than reception staff
reception staff very tough long waiting time at check in long waiting time at check out we had to ask everyday for toilet amenities
Train track right behind our room felt like trsins were coming into the rooms wevwere six floors up
