the location was close to the metro station. The room had fantastic views
Location and price is ok.
The room booked had the air conditioned and the fan in the toilet broken. They swapped us to other room but located in the smoking floor(we're non-smokers). Could be worst but won't return.
If you happen to stay on the side of hotel next to the railway track, you are not going to sleep. We had to change rooms twice. The other, river-view facing side is ok and the view is just perfect. Breakfast coffe wasn't good. Next time, we will stay somewhere else.
Excellent value for money, great location near the river and airport, staff friendly and helpful.
Wooden floors and panels scraped in the rooms, matress a bit hard
Well I have to admit, I've booked this hotel at least 2 times and then canceled because I've found something better...as I thought...This time I decided to keep my reservation and try it. I was surprised! In a good way of course! The room is really comfortable, the hotel is enormous and make a real honour to his name "art", the design and the inside is very pretty. It's situated in a good place, even though it's not so easy to reach unless you take a generous walk or a taxi.
I didn't found the guys at the reception much amused with their works...they we're not so frendly and neither rude, but for a hotel they should smile a little more. The hotel despite being so good and comfortable is a little bit far to reach by walking...it's between 2 metro stations so as I said, you'll have to walk unless you get a taxi.
bathroom water didn't go down plug hole .
bathroom water didn't go down plug hole . Terrible
Close to Hilversum Centre, Walking distance to train station for connection to Amsterdam & Berlin. Good restaurant in hotel for evening meal.
> Hotel fabuloso, desde o check in ao check out.
great location for the train station and airport. The staff were helpful and polite. The higher floors have fantastic views of Lisbon.
our only minus point was the pillows! They were thin and on our 2nd visit there were only 3 in the room. We asked and received more though.
We did not have extra pillows, ghe available pillows were very very thin, and we did not have towels when arriving. The rooms was not well cleaned. There was hair on the floor in all the corners of the room. We made reservations via booking.com for non smoking and when we arrived there, there was not a non smoking room available for us as reserved. On January 1st. at dinner there was only one waiter for the complete restaurant. On fridays it looks to be a hotel for city copuples (motel) as for ceck in here is a long line of couples checking in withut no baggage at all.
Position of the Hotel
A massive block of concrete in the room.
welcoming, helpful staff, clean room and bedding, comfortable.
No facilities for making a hot drink in ones room. essential on arrival, and also first thing in the morning. Just a kettle and 2 cups would be fine
The room was faced to the railway, so, the noise was pretty annoying (we asked for it and we stayed on the 11th floor!). We arrived at the Hotel at 3 pm and the room wasn't ready. they asked us to wait for one hour. we then decided to go for a stroll. We arrived again at the Hotel by 6 pm and we still had to wait for the room to be cleaned. When we arrived at the room the floor was still wet, around 6.30 pm. The Hotel was not ready to receive so many costumers for the Violetta concerts. It was a mess. The rooms need some upgrading (it's a 4 star hotel).
No heating system and no wifi. It could be better if you remove these facilities from your website
Location was excellent as we were travelling by train from Algarve and flying following day to UK. Just a 10 minutes walk from Orient Central Train Station to the Hotel and approx. 12 € taxi to the airport. Near the Hotel there is a Shopping Mall and restaurants. Location is just a few meters from the river and from the Expo with the Arena next door if you are going to watch a live concert. To the city centre, by taxi, its just 10 minutes and approx. 8 euros fare. Our Room was on a top floor with great views to the river and Expo. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower very good too.
On arrival, at the reception, we were greeted by a very serious gentleman. It is a shame when staff at the reception don't have a smile or a friendly welcome word on the arrival of the guests. I hardly could hear what he was asking me as he just mumbled while concentrated on his computer screen and not even bother to look at you. The standard of this Hotel deserves much better than this. Maybe he had a bad day (or night) as it was only 1pm when we arrived. I wonder how his mood will be if you arrive at 6pm!!!
In close proximity to both the train station and airport, ideal logistically for travellers into and out of Lisbon. Good value and clean.
Restuarant and bar could do with a bit of atmosphere.
The room was very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved the bathroom, it was very clean and the tub was nice and deep and relaxing.
The room was uncomfortably warm when we first went in. The heat was turned up a lot higher than i like. I had booked the room online thru booking.com and booked our room with breakfast included, I thought. We gave our room number to the hostess at breakfast and she showed us into the dining room and 'After' we began eating, so we were charged for a continental style breakfast. If the hostess had mentioned this before seating us we would have gone to breakfast elsewhere. I guess I will make sure the next time I check into a hotel.
Worn out decor and upholstery
Excellent rapport qualité/prix
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible
Staff were friendly and helpful
The room was nice, not special but ok. Great free wifi in the room
It was a bit cold in the room.
breakfast quality was not equivalent to the price. the numerous items is not synonome to quality.
We arrived to Lisbon in a late flight and were heading to the Algarve next day. This hotel has a convenient location. In the morning we could have breakfast in one of the many nearby "pastelaria" and do some shopping in the Vasco da Gama mall, opposite the Oriente train station. Very comfortable bed, excellent wifi.
In spite of the double glazing, the noise of the nearby railroad reached the 13th floor room and woke me up in the morning.
